Wearing cute shoes without socks? Bring a pair of socks to slip on as your shoes go through the scanner. It will save you having to walk barefoot in dirty security area floors.

Really crowded but airport layout is easy to maneuver through. Charley's Subs has some good sandwiches that are good for on the go in between flights.

If you have time stroll through the terminals. Plenty of rotating artwork and photos of ATL history. Be careful you don't leave terminal T or else you have to go through security again.

An upgrade to first class bought one passenger a one-way ticket to the grave! Before wheels down, I concluded the culprit was a jilted ex-lover stuck in coach.

If you're an out-of-towner not familiar with @ChickfilA, change your life by consuming a #1 with sweet tea. You might as well, because in the ATL delayed flights are mandatory.

Leave yourself plenty of time between far concourse connections. Main security checkpoint is always faster than the South checkpoint, regardless of Medallion status.

The Delta Sky Club on concourse A has a bar. Unlike some other concourses, they literally have a bar where you can sit and watch the news, sports, or just get hit on by fellow travelers.

Don't dilly dally if your connecting. Check the monitors and head straight to your gate. Connections are always tight when you factor in the walk/shuttle to get to the gate.

When going through security, don't pick the lane right beside the "wheelchair access" lane. They sneak their carry-on luggage before yours even though you've been waiting 10 min to scan your shoes
