- Wearing cute shoes without socks? Bring a pair of socks to slip on as your shoes go through the scanner. It will save you having to walk barefoot in dirty security area floors.
- Pay attention during landing. It's the coolest thing to have two other planes on a parallel descent.
- Electronic trash cans that compress the contents (terminal a ). I'm thinking a good thing or completely unnecessary? What do you think?

- Kate MatovinaJuly 12, 2013Really crowded but airport layout is easy to maneuver through. Charley's Subs has some good sandwiches that are good for on the go in between flights.
- Liz SNovember 14, 2011If you have time stroll through the terminals. Plenty of rotating artwork and photos of ATL history. Be careful you don't leave terminal T or else you have to go through security again.
- You never have to walk further than the length of one concourse to get to your next gate.
- Huge airport with direct flights almost everywhere. Easy to get around for its size
- Priority checking for Delta ends at 7 PM so if you have a flight that's later you'll be standing in line with everyone else.
- Angela LansburyFebruary 24, 2014An upgrade to first class bought one passenger a one-way ticket to the grave! Before wheels down, I concluded the culprit was a jilted ex-lover stuck in coach.
- Don't get lost; This place is huge! All the gates are interconnected by train and there are lots of food options.
- Wonderful airport with art on the walkways between terminals.
- I was about 30 people behind a middle eastern guy with sunglasses in the immigration line. He was still there when I cruised through.. just an observation
- If you have time in your schedule get in a little exercise by walking between terminals rather than taking the train.

- If you're an out-of-towner not familiar with @ChickfilA, change your life by consuming a #1 with sweet tea. You might as well, because in the ATL delayed flights are mandatory.
- Leave yourself plenty of time between far concourse connections. Main security checkpoint is always faster than the South checkpoint, regardless of Medallion status.
- Nature's Bistro in E Terminal is a great place to have something which is healthy.
- The Delta Sky Club on concourse A has a bar. Unlike some other concourses, they literally have a bar where you can sit and watch the news, sports, or just get hit on by fellow travelers.
- Brian LinJune 9, 2013Security line at North terminal (T gates) are way shorter - this is also where TSA-pre✔ line is. Then go down the escalator & take the "plane train" to gates A-E
- A refillable fountain drink at ATL? Unheard of right? No, scuttle down to ATL Bread on Concourse C and wah lah. Sweet tea, soda, light lemonade and more! For here and to go.
- Getting a rental car? Take the Plane Train to the last stop after Terminal T
- DreMay 18, 2011If u have to sleep overnight inside the terminals... Go with terminal B. Smokers lounge is always open , fresh coffee by 5am, sleeping kiosk opens at 530 and the terminal is quiet overnight
- This is my first time in the F concourse. There are a lot of upscale shops in this concourse.
- The international concourse is where it's at! The Varsity & a duty free shop with great brands?? Kill time here.
- Cafe Intermezzo and Chik-fil-A, both in Concourse B, have fantastic sweet tea. I hit up one of the two on every trip back West.
- Make time in your travels for a meal at Cafe Intermezzo. You will not be disappointed.
- Be sure to make fun of the lady who announces the stops along the people mover. My personal favorite is Concourse D. Concourse D as in David.
- A great place for a layover - always something to do while you wait for your next flight.
- If you have time, head over to terminal E or F for the best eating and drinking options.
- If you have a while until your flight, head over to E concourse. Sit in the food court and listen to the piano while reading your favorite book!
- You must check out Varasano's pizzeria piano bar. Great pizza, drinks and cocktails
- Rogerio LMOctober 18, 2014If you are taking a connection flight, had not eat yet and wish a better meal, look for it before going through the secure checkpoint. Restaurants outside have more options than those inside.
- If you have a phone charger that uses a USB port, use that at the charging stations instead of the outlet - ~seems~ to charge faster AND frees up more outlets.
- Don't dilly dally if your connecting. Check the monitors and head straight to your gate. Connections are always tight when you factor in the walk/shuttle to get to the gate.
- There's a Chick Fil A in Concourse A attached to the Burger King (so you may not see it on the directory).
- Paschal sin terminal B best southern food in Airport hands down. Meat and two veggies.

- Signage I airport hard to read from a distance. Not enough flight monitor available listing flight departure information. T terminal have limited food options. Not a very well organized airport.
- If you are in D concourse and have an hours layover, DON'T go to the coffee bean for a drink or you will miss your flight. Holy Christ!!!
- Pack your patience and leave home early people. (Like 5 hours before your flight.). I’m not kidding.
- Concourse D always has interesting things to see. Check out the Buyer Beware and puppetry exhibits.
- When going through security, don't pick the lane right beside the "wheelchair access" lane. They sneak their carry-on luggage before yours even though you've been waiting 10 min to scan your shoes
