Cris DuqueJanuary 6, 2014If you're plane is cancelled through Delta, call the customer service number before speaking with an agent at a counter. It's faster and they're much more helpful.

Tana CefaluAugust 10, 2013Also, if your flight from ATL to CSG delays, check your options for the Groomes shuttle van to drive you directly there. I got a voucher when my flight was delayed 5 times but I wish I'd asked sooner!
Pack your patience and leave home early people. (Like 5 hours before your flight.). I’m not kidding.
Flying Delta? Use the lower level check in. Less vehicle traffic and fewer people. You'll think you're checking in like a VIP! :D

If you're in the military ask where the USO is they have one in this airport.- If you have a phone charger that uses a USB port, use that at the charging stations instead of the outlet - ~seems~ to charge faster AND frees up more outlets.
Getting a rental car? Take the Plane Train to the last stop after Terminal T
Wearing cute shoes without socks? Bring a pair of socks to slip on as your shoes go through the scanner. It will save you having to walk barefoot in dirty security area floors.

Get "A Piece of Cake" at Concourse A. Hey, the distance you have to walk in this place will burn off the calories!
Huge airport with direct flights almost everywhere. Easy to get around for its size

If you have time on connection or ATL is your last stop they have IHOP. I believe it's in terminal E or F.

Rogerio LMOctober 18, 2014If you are taking a connection flight, had not eat yet and wish a better meal, look for it before going through the secure checkpoint. Restaurants outside have more options than those inside.
If you have time in your schedule get in a little exercise by walking between terminals rather than taking the train.
Nature's Bistro in E Terminal is a great place to have something which is healthy.
This may be the nicest domestic airport I’ve ever been in. The #PlaneTrain is quite user-friendly.
Get on the last car when returning on the tram then when you get off at baggage. Don't follow the crowd. Take the secret escalator up which is far less crowded.

South Security is a hell of a lot faster than the Main Security. Taxis are all the way at the end of the airport near the Pets area for no good reason.
A great place for a layover - always something to do while you wait for your next flight.
Make time in your travels for a meal at Cafe Intermezzo. You will not be disappointed.
If you have a while until your flight, head over to E concourse. Sit in the food court and listen to the piano while reading your favorite book!
Cafe Intermezzo and Chik-fil-A, both in Concourse B, have fantastic sweet tea. I hit up one of the two on every trip back West.
The Delta Sky Club on concourse A has a bar. Unlike some other concourses, they literally have a bar where you can sit and watch the news, sports, or just get hit on by fellow travelers.
You must check out Varasano's pizzeria piano bar. Great pizza, drinks and cocktails

Be sure to make fun of the lady who announces the stops along the people mover. My personal favorite is Concourse D. Concourse D as in David.

Concourse D always has interesting things to see. Check out the Buyer Beware and puppetry exhibits.

This is my first time in the F concourse. There are a lot of upscale shops in this concourse.
The international concourse is where it's at! The Varsity & a duty free shop with great brands?? Kill time here.
The glory hole in the men's room at A20 is far superior to the one at C16. A good value compared to the international terminal ones, too.
If you are delayed, head to one flew south in terminal E for great cocktails, great sushi, and a much more relaxed vibe than the chains/food court

Massively large, but the train makes the transfer better between gate. Friendly folks there. Lots of food options.
