Denny VansantOctober 17, 2013Hey Dude working gate1, how about you make sure the escalator and elevators are working before you get all rude about people getting to the gate later than you want.
If just going one concourse over, and you've just missed the Plane Train, it's faster to walk.
Big and busy airport ~ make sure to give yourself enough time to get through security and/or when going between terminals for transfer flights!

For those who love to walk and NOT in a rush to their next flight, by all means walk to your flight gate instead of taking the train. It's healthier than warming your chair at the gate.
If you're in a hurry, go through security on the North side close to the ticketing counter for AA. It's much sh.orter than the South side check in at the other end of ticketing.

If you have time, go to the International Terminal. It's a quiet haven away from the noise and the food options are good.

I'm shocked that the latest renovations in Dec 2013 has still not put more electrical outlets in the terminals. And yes it's 2014.
Going through security at the international terminal and taking the train to domestic is a great time & sanity saver.
Be prepare every flight in and out is delayed. In 12 years I've never had an on time flight out of ATL.

Concourse D is the best: Burger King, Cinnabon, Sbarro, Starbucks, Chilis-to-go, Nathan's -- what could be better waiting at the gate.
If you think you're going to get a fast 4G signal here on Verizon's network, you're sadly mistaken. Strong, yes. Fast, hell no.
If you're going through South Security, look for the security line to the far left. A Road Warrior's dream for speed! Plus the security guys are hilariously cool ;)

Nick TomainoDecember 22, 2011At the age of 13, Justin flew to Atlanta from Stratford and met with Scooter Braun, who discovered him on YouTube. Braun introduced him to Usher and he signed to Raymond Braun Media group soon after.
Nice Airport, but add extra time for getting here by car as they are reconstructing the Access roads.
You will see many service men and women departing and coming home through ATL. Be sure to thank them for their service to our country.
The bathrooms near the TSA checkpoint are often far cleaner and emptier than the ones across from the arrival lobby.
The TSA Precheck lines are sometimes as long as the regular lines here so plan accordingly!
