If you declare anything, it will take you longer to get through customs with the new automated system. Try not to bring anything home from vacation
Large, busy, but easy to navigate. Walk to your terminal instead of taking the plane train. Very cool art to admire
How about some customer service, guys? Make a reservation online, get to the airport & need to make a small change, & agent can’t do anything but makes you call the online help desk. What kind of BS?!

The busiest airport in the world, and so far, only 4sq venue to surpass the 1M mark. Delta's precence cannot go by unnoticed. Also, only airport in the US to have a runway over an Interstate (10/28)
The good- lots of food & activity options if you have a lay over. From fast food to sit down restaurants, from luxury boutiques to massage/spa options. The bad- frequent flight delays and rude TSA.
If you don't eat at One Flew South (top of the stairs in Terminal E) while you're here, you're missing out. You'd never know you we're in an airport.

Get to the airport early and Take the train to Concourse F (even if you have a domestic flight). The food options and ambiance is so much better than the older terminals.
The finest food in the ATL airport is "One Flew South" at Concourse E. If you have at least a 90 minute layover, take the train here to get some sushi and gourmet food.
If you have time, walk from concourse A to baggage claim and you'll find some really cool sculptures and other art!
If your picking someone up from the airport goto the cellphone lot and watch the planes take off and land if you got kids bring em, Planes are right in your face!!
Fatih GuvenenSeptember 29, 2013No monitors when coming up escalators from the tram. Instead you need to walk 1/4 mile before seeing one to find out that you walked in the wrong direction. Genius award for design!
Decided to do the Delta Sky Club- did not regret it. Quiet atmosphere, food & drink. Much more relaxing for long layovers.

Hartsfield can be busy but you can catch a flight to anywhere. The layout is logical (for a big airport). If you have to wait more than 2 hours for your flight/connection, have a few drinks, it helps.
I know Starbucks is in C at the top left when you get off the escalator. Terminal F has some great restaurants like PF Changs and more if you have the time.

Take the MARTA to the airport. It is cheap and very easy access from just about anywhere in the city.

Nathan ShimpJuly 11, 2015It never fails to amaze me, security check point 50 TSA worker 1 or 2 lanes open. That leaves 45 TSA on government welfare, just standing around. How about opening additional security lanes!!!
Love this airport! So many choices for food and retail shopping. A city within itself.

Worth the trip to concourse E if you have the time. Worth the price ($$$) too if you're into food. Arugula salad light and refreshing. Chicken was delicious too.
Always keep your things close! They are doing a GREAT job with managing this airport during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Terminal E food court natures table bistro is great. Free refills on tea too!!! This is an airport? Awesome- For long layovers, this airport is a great place to be. There are great shopping & lots of choices to eat.

Always try to do the curb side check-in, even if you're only checking your luggage, it saves you a ton of time than going inside to join the line and the porters are super friendly
