There's no free wifi at George Bush international airport. Which is another thing the Bush name gets wrong.

Give yourself ample connection time here. You'll walk your legs off between terminals and the Sky Train went out while I waited for it. Only made flight because it was delayed even then I was last.

Wear comfortable shoes since you will be walking quite a bit. Not many choices for breakfast in Terminal B. I can't believe the McDonald's there has no breakfast menu.

Luggage takes forever. Also if you arrive on a domestic flight terminal E, you'll have to walk to C to get your luggage. Fun times.

Enroll in the Global Entry Program and enjoy TSA PreCheck or consider entering through Terminal E to avoid long security lines.

I am ashamed about the long kilometrique queue at the passport control. Prepare yourself to wait minimum 1,5 hours (overpassing not honestly the other people) before to catch your connecting flight.

Curses on the United gate attendant who told me Terminal E was a "two-minute walk" from my arrival gate in C. Was HIA designed by the same sadist who designed O'Hare?
