- Brad McCulloughApril 14, 2013Have not been here in awhile, they now have trams to take you from terminal B to other areas of airport. Use to have to take a shuttle bus.
- Diego FloresOctober 5, 2012If you look for the Super Shuttle you can get to your city address for less than $30. Right on your door.
- Center bar in terminal C is perfect place to grab a brew and kill some time.
- Cami HermannDecember 6, 20101 hour of free wireless access for some AMEX cards, but 45 mins free for everyone. Click on the "complimentary" wireless link lower down on the page and follow the directions.
- Seriously watch out for passenger carts here. They are everywhere driving fast in crowded areas.
- Get Kung pao chicken at pei Wei and you won't need salt for a month
- After 24 check-ins, I think I'm qualified to rate Terminal A as subpar. McDonalds is the best food you can get here.
- Welcome to Texas and my hometown of Houston! If someone is picking you up, head to the "private cars" exit by baggage claim.
- Huge airport with yummy foods and nice shops.
- Free wifi and confortable seats if you are waiting for a conection fight.
- Justine Weeks SutleyMay 27, 2013Bring book or mag to pass time and a beverage cuz airlines seem to be cutting back on even basic amenities like drunks and peanuts.
- Allow some extra time since they create on large line to get into the terminal.
- Jennifer MillerMay 2, 2012Phones in Terminal C by baggage claim that you can use that will dial many hotels in the area if you need a place to stay.
- Try the fish tacos and abundant electrical outlets at Urban Crave outside of C33. A good find for an airport.
- DoubleTree by HiltonSeptember 27, 2011Wear your most cumbersome shoes while traveling so you save space packing. For more travel tips and fun, follow @DoubleTree on Twitter!
- Eunice KimSeptember 13, 2015Possibly one of the saddest places to get a long layover. I recommend NOT going to Papadeux.
- Ivhan CoronelJuly 3, 2016If you're foreigner be prepared for long line in immigration 😫 in my opinion you can take an uber(cabs are really expensive).
- If you have a long layover after midnight— make the way to Terminal E. Every other terminal isn't worth attempting to sleep for your layover. I've tried.
- Nick SpannausMay 20, 2012United Airlines' barf bags aren't just for show. They seal in flavor and freshness with no leaks. Your secret is safe with United!
- Julia Victoria 🇮🇹👑October 30, 2013I am ashamed about the long kilometrique queue at the passport control. Prepare yourself to wait minimum 1,5 hours (overpassing not honestly the other people) before to catch your connecting flight.
- If you need a cappuccino in terminal C, the Starbucks are at C23 & C33.
- Get the breakfast tacos or burrito at panchitos in terminal B. Ask for it fiesta style and they'll throw on sauteed peppers and onions, no extra charge!
- Harlon's BBQ in terminal C. Try the loaded baked potato with chopped brisket.
- Mary CoonsDecember 19, 2014The Largest #BrooksBrothers store I've ever seen is in Terminal C- they have everything!
- Terminal B is easy going. Nit many food options but is not crazy crowded and consider it’s summer it went well at least this time.
- In baggage claim A/B: the screen above the desk at the bottom of the escalators will tell you which carousel your luggage is on.
- Sarah HensonSeptember 12, 2011Bring snacks if you have a short layover. All of the good food is in the center and quite a hike from the terminals.
- Go with 3 hours prior to your flight departure. Worst case scenario you’ll enjoy the amenities that IAH can offer.
- Janelle WilsonMarch 21, 2013If you like secondhand smoke hang out in the women's restroom across from gate c31, you'll get your buzz!
- Access to A gates on both sides of the terminal! Don't go to the wrong security line! If you do, there is a walkway to the other side past security though!
- AdrienneJanuary 26, 2012Travel a lot and deal with "normal" air travel problems often but I will avoid IAH always (awful layout, long lines for help, of course humid and, though friendly and caring, no REAL help given).
- Free wifi and more dining choices than most other large airports.
- I enjoy that 60% of these comments involve the airlines directly and have nothing to do with the airport.
- Why is this airport so far! Spend time in the renovated Terminal C. It's a large airport, it really needs more walking escalators.
- Erincik EdgüSeptember 22, 2014Not amusing. Limited cafés, below average duty free with limited variety of souvenirs and etc. Announcers mumble not aware this is an international airport and not everyone is Texas born. Free WiFi.
- If you have a long layover and you're in the C terminal, make sure to bring a book. The WiFi is AWFUL!
- Sometimes, an elite security checkpoint is open on second floor of terminal C. But not after 4pm on thursdays, as I and 100 of my closest friends just found out.
- Terry SextonApril 25, 2014Decent airport, just not smoker friendly. Terminal E has a great little sports bar to enjoy food and drinks at.
