Johnny SpencerMarch 15, 2015For arrivals you don't have to stay in the right lane the whole way. Both lanes go to the carousels.
TSA lines at the far end (away from the United check in) are much shorter. A two minute walk can save you twenty minutes!
TSA Pre ✔️ is past the Starbucks left of the main security. It's kinda out of the way.
Victoria HarmanJuly 31, 2013If you take a late night flight (~11/11:30pm), be prepared for long security lines up to 40 minutes. They close down half of the entry points. Allow extra time if your airline's in a satellite gate.
Alaska Airlines security checkpoint is fast and empty at from 4:30-5pm on Sundays. Perfect time to leave without waiting in line.
For Pre-Check, go to Checkpoint 1 at the far end of the terminal by the hanging airplane models
If you are in the D gates after 10pm. Grab a snack before you make the trek. No food open down here.- One of the best airports I've been to - clean, orderly and everyone was very polite.
Alison CantrellMay 30, 2012New rental facility is pretty nice once you adjust. To get to your rental car take the free shuttle outside the airport!!
Washingtonians should consider a Nexus card which is a better value and gets you pre-check
*Being your own pillow and blanket for the flight. *Just because it's hot where you're goin, doesn't mean it's hot on the plane. If you board wearing next to nothin, prepare to freeze on the plane.

Sandy SchadlerJune 7, 2013I was at BNA, DFW, LAX, SFO, and SEA in the same week. Only Seattle had a ridiculous security line. Don't come through without having pre-check or plan for a full hour in security.
Be prepared to stand in the security screening line for a while. This is an airport where you definitely need to arrive early.
Nice airport, fast security check, wifi is free and good.

The holidays have arrived at SeaTac -- decorations abound & musicians are in the house to keep you entertained
For Concourse N Terminal you'll need to take the train there so allow additional time to get there.
Beecher's Cheese Shop has delicious sandwiches. Located by gate C2. Try the Flagship!
The Seattle Taproom by A/B terminal has a much better beer selection than the Alaska brewpub on the other side.

This is a great place to catch a flight, which is a much faster way to get somewhere than walking or driving.
Catch the astounding view in the huge foyer common area before hitting your gate!
Sadly, the train at the airport is the most traveled Seattle mass transit. We've voted most every other effective method down in the polls. Enjoy that ride :)

Erik HummelJuly 6, 2012In the Seattle Tap Room near gate B1 there is a table in the back right corner that has a power outlet under the table.
Anthony's in the main food court serves only Washington brewed craft beers. Best spot in the airport.

If your just arriving, go eat next door at Sharpe's Roaster. Ask to sit in Lori's section. Great service an even greater food/drinks!
Have your friends and family drop you off in arrivals and pick you up in departures to avoid the traffic jams
Seattle .... A craft beer MECCA. Must stops are Brouwer's Cafe and Bottleworks in Seattle and 99 Bottles in Federal Way.
Free Wifi, Starbucks and a few good places for food. If you have the option, fly Virgin! Voted Best domestic airline, 3 years in a row!
Cafe Vita and Beecher's in C-terminal are perfect before any Alaska flight!

This is where you can catch the Light Rail catch buses near by or catch a plane flight
