- You'd be amazed how many people leave at 5-6 am, the security line is long, assume it will take you 45 minutes to get to the departure gate
- Kathy's dish d'lish at central food court has the best salads to go! She also has yummy sandwiches. This is my go to spot
- Got to go to Dish D'lish in the new section of the terminal. They have good, fresh food, and some of the options are healthy too!!
- The Amazing RaceSeptember 15, 2011VIDEO: For the traveling adults, you should take a tour of Seattle's Underground World. It's fascinating. But, it's only for adults. - Phil Keoghan, Host of "The Amazing Race" Read more

- Have a warm cup of chowder at Anthony's when deplaning. Warms you from within after those but-cold flights!
- one of the best airports. not a lot of shopping variety, but so many food varieties. i dont know who won't get their cravings satisfied before/after a flight
- If you're flying internationally (S Gates) and are hungry, make sure you head down towards B Gates for food first! They've taken away a lot of venues in S Gates due to construction!
- Stand 5 feet back from the baggage claim carrousel until you see your bag, otherwise your ass gets in the way & prevents the rest of us from spotting our luggage.

- Ray HartjenOctober 17, 2014The only way to get to Sea-Tac from downtown is the LINK light rail. Only $2.75 and 35 minutes. A deal at 4x the cost.
- If you're here for breakfast go to Ivars Fish Bar and get a Salmon Sandwich. Cheap and delicious.
- Daniels LeeJanuary 23, 2012Sit down at your terminal and put away the laptop, smartphone, tablet, kindle, or any digital device. Try practicing mindfulness instead and give yourself the gift of being fully present.
- TSA agents are much friendlier (and smarter) in Portland. If you are on the Alaska airlines shuttle to PDX you can speed through ANY security line. Not just the one closest to Alaska gates.
- Arrive early! Long lines abound. Long walks too... Especially if your flight leaves from the S-gates.
- Gong ChengDecember 14, 2023Checkpoint 1 is less busy than checkpoint 2 3 4 5 also close to gate A. So if u r heading to gate A use check point 1.
- JonAugust 5, 2012Make sure you have extra time getting onto Sea-Tac ! Getting inside is like trying to pass thru the Pittsburgh Steeler defensive line. Once inside enjoy! Have a safe flight!

- Doc SearlsOctober 13, 2022If you’re renting a car, build in a LOT of extra time because it’s nowhere nearby and the busses to and from can hit heavy traffic.
- RexOctober 25, 2017All terminals are connected post security. The north and south satellites require a train, but are still quite easy to get to
- Mark EmmonsAugust 23, 2013Love that you take a little walk and can catch the train to downtown. Much faster and better views than riding the bus.

- MDJuly 19, 2017Got trapped in the cell phone lot for almost an hour! Be wary of entering there any time at night! Traffic gets so bad you can get gridlocked in the lot and can't escape! (Only one entrance/exit)
- Follow the fish on the floor in gates B. Press the water fountains for sound effects! Keeps young and old entertained!
- If you are going to drop someone off, don't stress too much about the backup, its backup from arrivals. Once you get passed the merging of traffic from the cell phone parking lot, it's open road!
- Busy airport. Give yourself enough time to get through security if not TSA or airline premier. Alaska Air N terminal requires tram to get there. Terminal is nice just takes a bit to get there.
- If flying Virgin traveling with a dog is easy. Just make sure the dog fits under the seat in front of you in a airline approved soft carrier.

- Order Starbucks on the app — so much faster. Each Starbucks have a sign to their location to find on app

- Andrew BrownAugust 6, 2019Want to eat in Terminal D? Do you have 2 hours to wait + eat + get check at one of the two restaurant/bars? If not, I hope you enjoy prepackaged sandwiches.
- After dealing with DFW Airport for a decade I really appreciate the simplistic design of Seatac. Only one simple terminal! While the after check in area still have the feel of a large airport.
