- JasonJanuary 16, 2013Have lunch at Anthony's fish place in front of the big glass window. Amazing site to watch as your eating.
- There are plenty of other coffee shops besides Starbucks. With much shorter lines. Venture out!
- Make sure you add extra time if you're departure is from Gate S. It's separate from the main terminals and requires a shuttle from gate A and several escalators.
- ChristinaSeptember 1, 2014Starbuck's opens at 4am. And pumpkin spice lattes/pumpkin cream cheese muffins are back early this year! That makes a 5am flight infinitely better.
- Stop by concourse C before heading to your gate. All the food and shopping you could ask for.
- Lots of food and shopping options. Very clean and modern.
- Walk from your gate-to the light rail-catch monorail from Westlake Station & get to the Needle w/o a car. Good for avoiding zombies too.
- Get your camera ready. Some of the best photos in the world were taken up in the air. (A window seat away from the wing is your best choice for views.)
- Anthony's chowder is awesome... If you have a beer with it I suggest something dark and Large! Cheers
- Grab a seat in a rocking chair in the big food court area by the windows & watch the planes take off
- Matt28800 @January 20, 2013Flew out at 6am on a holiday Sunday and EVERY food location and shop was open and doing business. Very Nice!
- Julie DujardinApril 19, 2013Once you check your bags and go through security grab a refreshment like Vitamin water, you'll be able to bring it on the plane too!
- Best airport I've been thru! Security lines are long but fast & efficient! Love it!
- If your traveling to downtown Seattle or the ferries take the light rail. It's right in the parking garage and only cost $2.75!!!
- Ana MejiaMay 6, 2013Certainly arrive 2 or 3 hours before your flight departs because there are connection trains to catch plus avoiding any delays in the check-in points is best, which is a given.
- Mark JansenDecember 15, 2012Find a shorter line for security. All the entrances can access all gates. Trade a slightly longer walk for a much shorter wait.
- Under construction in many parts of the airport at this time, but already lots of good food options
- Free wifi and multiple Starbucks stores here: one at main entrance one near C10. Even there is line up, the Service is very fast.
- One of my favorite airports. Clean, never crowded and a great selection of amenities
- Treat yourself to real Seattle coffee and grilled cheese sandwich at Caffe Vita and Beechers in the C concourse.
- Blake OlsonJanuary 6, 2015I love the airline pretzels! However this crowded bathroom smelling airport also has way too many crying baby's, definitely ruined my trip. 👎
- Frequent flyer tip: Head to checkpoint 3, the one in front of the open area that includes Starbucks, etc. The line may look long, but unlike the others it actually moves.
- The renovations with the new food area in the central terminal are spectacular.
- Delta Sky Club in S terminal between. S-9 & S-10. Take the stairs or dedicated elevator up a floor.
- Doug CaldwellJune 8, 2011Alaska Airlines has efficient passenger baggage handling. Multi-check in points. Get boarding pass beforehand at free standing podiums. If checkin podium doesn't read your card ask the 'red vest' h
- Apparently you don't have to empty your pockets, take out your laptop, or take off your shoes anymore here!
- If you're in the north satellite, eat at Bigfoot! Family owned -real people& tasty!! Try the pulledpork sandwich! They also have alcohol :)
- Beware of the curb. It is for loading and unloading only. Violators may be ticketed and towed. You have been warned. ;)
- Heather geddingsNovember 22, 2013Excellent last-minute shopping at Fireworks. Lots of great $10 or less interesting gift ideas.
- Sea-Tac typically has longer lines and can be troublesome to connect through because of the 5+ concourses. Pretty clean though.
- Duff McKagan from Guns n Roses has pre-recorded announcements. lol
- Dee FlowersJuly 6, 2013Beautiful airport, but being here was a tedious experience. It seems that you have to take a lot of shuttles to get anywhere. Especially if you're renting a car. Worst than ATL airport.
- Leaving from C10 and above? Grab a quick snack at Uwaji's. I recommend the Spam Musubi.
- Best spot to go if you have some time is to the end of any of the terminals, lots of free space and places to plug in
- The kids' playroom is awesome! I wish every airport had one! Also love the great 3D mobile sculpture in the main terminal!
- Get to the airport early and head to beechers for some delish grilled cheese and Mac and cheese 😋
- A pretty good place to have a layover. International gates are a little sparse for food or shopping, though.
- Robyn SiderskyJuly 28, 2012The Bagel place in the N terminal is awesome. Quick service and yummy. Great for early flights.
- Oh! Flight crew gets priority... Poetic justice= when an AA stewardess cuts in front bc she's late and more important, she then gets chosen for a pat down and the person doing it is her first time!
- Easy to navigate airport. Wait times are usually around 10s. No healthy food options.
- Race BannonApril 16, 2013This is one of my favorite airports. I find it quite easy to access and navigate.
- JennApril 27, 2011Great airport. Lots to do after security. Try the turkey & cheddar w/ cucumber sandwich from Starbucks...its the perfect snack before a flight.
- RaniaJuly 23, 2017One of the best views but unlike the domestic terminal, only limited (unhealthy) food options are available once you pass through security check. Disappointing
- Give yourself 3x time than you expected to get from rental car facility, security and transport to your gate.
- If you're picking someone up (esp. in the evening), arrange to pick them up at departures instead of arrivals to avoid a traffic jam. It's just up the escalator.
- Jed 🐙🦑🐡🐳 🐖🦂 CarosaariSeptember 26, 2021If you're coming in as a non-citizen - pray. It's too late to turn around, but Seattle is notorious for being the worst port in the US for barring people if anything seems slightly out of order.
- Ernesto DuterteMay 25, 2013If it's your first time here, then you'd better ask someone knowledgeable how to get to your destination! Have a safe flight.
- Nate HartMay 16, 2013Beechers Cafe in the C terminal is absolutely awesome - skip Starbucks, they don't even have a toaster for your bagel!
