Note to future Memorial Day weekend travellers: if flying out of PHX in the a.m. on Thurs., expect to stand in *much* longer lines (plural) than usual. Folks missing flights all day long.
Sarah RossioMay 9, 2012If you have a flight after 9, note nothing really open in T2. No bookstores, food, coffee, etc. With all the red-eye flights not too user friendly.

Sung won LimJune 14, 2011United Airways tend to shuffle gates around at the last minute, and airport wings don't have enough notice boards. Make sure to keep on top of the schedule.
If you are sick of Starbucks...check out PRESS COFFEE at B9. Great Coffee!
Free wi-fi makes it one of favorite airports. I try to avoid ones that don't.
DoubleTree by HiltonSeptember 27, 2011If you’re unable to select the middle seat when booking your flight, do not book that flight. The flight is most likely oversold which could make for an unwanted adventure when take-off time comes.
They opened a flipping la grande orange, sauce, and Chelsea's kitchen. I love you sky harbor.

Food here (T4) is so damn good!! Chelseas Kitchen, Sauce, Blancos! Yum!- Head to B22 to Cowboy Ciao for a Stetson Chopped salad. You won't be sorry.
Terminal Four is where it's at. Dining options are few in Terminal Three, and there aren't as many charging stations.
A little dated but plenty of options for food/drinks.
If you have to connect to terminal 2. Leave security, go down to level 1, then exit at door 2. Silver terminal bus picks up on the island.
Free water bottle refills! Dogs roam the halls constantly.

Smoking are in terminal 2 is by the C and D gates INSIDE security!!!!!!! The best terminal at Sky Harbour.

RCDecember 25, 2016Oh. My. Goodness. DO NOT fly in here from an international destination. Waited on the plane for an open gate for 40 minutes. Also, it's at least a half mile from international terminal to A gates.

This place (Terminal A) is a madhouse - mind your step, someone may run over your foot or bonk you off balance. PHX Term A is cramped and crowded.
Allow plenty of time from rental@car to terminal. Long way!
Most of the ticketing counters don't open until about 4. If you have an early flight, either plan on carrying on your bag or waiting in a long line.
Dani CJanuary 9, 2023Cool new terminal F! If you rent a car leave PLENTY of time for the return. It’s pretty far from the terminals.
Gates A-D are all connected on Terminal 4. Look for the security checkpoint with the shortest lines. WALKING may be required!

Would like to politely disagree about not being able to find an outlet. There are 4 by gate 17. Look for the AED and pay phones. Outlets are right next to those two.

Flo's Shanghai Kitchen has great Asian food...try the Mongolian Beef.Also go to Paradise Bakery and get the cookie bites.

United is a terminal two. Continue all the way around the circle. It's on the other side. So keep driving.
Easy economy parking lot is primo! Quick bus ride to terminals. Never miss a flight!
Grilled cheese and tomato soup at Sauce (located terminal 4, outside security, between all the gates)
