- One of the most convenient airports to fly in and out of. Mostly serves American Airlines/US Airways and Southwest Airlines.
- Use early bag check at 44th street, east economy lot or car rental center to avoid the long lines at the terminal.
- For your connecting flight, rest assured that US Airways have chosen the farthest gate possible for you to get late to there !!
- Nice airport. If you are returning a rental car, plan for suffient time to return the car in the rental car center and then take the shuttle to the terminal. Over 30 min
- Found out the hard way after United Flight was cancelled and rebooked to American, if you have to commute from Terminal A to Terminal B then you will have to go through TSA again. Not fun!
- Simple airport to move around through. I love how you can buy a cactus to bring home.
- David WalshNovember 18, 2014Main terminal before security has lots of good non-fast food options. Free wifi. After security pickings are more slim, but there is a decent French bistro
- Most of the good restaurants and shops and Starbucks are before security (at least at Gate D anyway) - so enjoy them before hand.

- Heading to downtown Phoenix? Look for the shuttle bus which takes you to the METRO light rail station at 44th and Washington. Hop on the westbound train, your first downtown stop is 3rd/Washington.
- For US Airways and American the low A's have the best food and only bar that stays open late
- Barrio Cafe is the best! Get the guac with everything. Yes. Even the pomegranate. Trust me.

- Eat egg and cheese and chorizo burrito at rio bravo In the terminal 4. Really good.

- Still one of the cleanest and easiest airports to travel through!

- In Cell Lot parking shade structure created by bridge.
- If you are downstairs at baggage claim and need to charge your beloved electronics: the plugs are in the ground and not in the stone walls. Your welcome

- Seriously the best airport I've been in. Clean and organized with great wifi.
- Be courteous to your flight attendants, you'll be amazed at how often they'll show you their appreciation (ie - free drinks, ect)
- Be forewarned that switching airlines usually means switching terminals... Which means exiting and reentering via security! :( that said, there's a great inter-terminal bus that runs every 15 min.

- The PHX All Stars bar is open late in terminal 2! Get the crispy chicken salad for a nice late night snack for two.
- Spare yourself the sweating. Train is good to terminal 4 ONLY! Add a bus and 1.5 mile walk to your journey just to get to other terminals
- Chelsea's kitchen is the best restaurant in the airport.
- Great choices for food and beverage in Terminal 4 by the first 14 "A" gates! Love Olive and Ivy!

- Good good options, and they're in the process of adding/renovating much needed bathrooms at the end of all the Terminal 4 gates. The lack of outlets though is a major headache.

- On the plane is definitely better than in the terminal if you are leaving on a jet plane. Even if you do know when you will be back again.

- Brian PApril 24, 2019It’s an ok airport but much of it is quite dated. Someone needs to go thru every terminal of this airport and update and renovate this place. Phoenix is a major airport and should be modernized.
