Main terminal before security has lots of good non-fast food options. Free wifi. After security pickings are more slim, but there is a decent French bistro
Free wi-fi (wouldn't expect less) but they need places to charge my phone & laptop! Great view of Camelback Mountain if you're on the right side of the plane.

Heading to downtown Phoenix? Look for the shuttle bus which takes you to the METRO light rail station at 44th and Washington. Hop on the westbound train, your first downtown stop is 3rd/Washington.
Nice airport. If you are returning a rental car, plan for suffient time to return the car in the rental car center and then take the shuttle to the terminal. Over 30 min
Be forewarned that switching airlines usually means switching terminals... Which means exiting and reentering via security! :( that said, there's a great inter-terminal bus that runs every 15 min.
This airport is big & it gets crowded quickly especially in the afternoon. Make reservations early & be there at the airport on time. Some flights maybe delayed, but just be patient.
For all those just getting in, AZ is celebrating our 1st ever Beer Week all throughout the state. Literally hundreds of events celebrating craft beer! Check it out Read more
Good good options, and they're in the process of adding/renovating much needed bathrooms at the end of all the Terminal 4 gates. The lack of outlets though is a major headache.
That moment when you are standing at the gate, heading to Detroit and "Don't Stop Believin'" comes on the sound system and EVERYONE starts singing "BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT"...
44th Street station is the best place to pick-up and drop-off passengers. Avoids traffic and wait times, and there’s no airport surcharge for ride-sharing services
