Fly in clothes suited for the warmer weather so you don't overheat when you step outside.

This is the most efficient and cleanest airport I’ve been to in America! Sad it’s no longer my “home” Airport, but I love having stops here whenever possible

Stopped electronic checkin at security gate B which used tone my favorite. They said Gate A still has them.
Free Wi-Fi in all the of the public areas. Be careful of the airport hookers waiting by Terminal 1.
The most overcrowded airport in the US. A serious lack of decent food, charging outlets, and poor layout make this the bain of my travels when I have to transit through this airport.
Ticketing, security, and the rental car drop all take longer than usual here. Arrive early, for srs!- Ben ThomaAugust 5, 2012Dominated by the color brown, the decor of this airport appears to mirror that sh*tty feeling you get when you realize there's nothing good to eat and it will take you forever to move between gates.
If you're catching a late flight eat before you arrive. Everything closes early. Plan to buy water from one of the vending machines which are card only, no cash (terminal 3 anyway)

Zane BurnettNovember 18, 2013No JetBlue curbside check in. Unless you're catching the last flight back to JFK, arrive early. No millimeter scanners and small terminals make for pretty backed up lines.

Shanna WesterNovember 12, 2010If you get stuck here late at night, there's no place to get water. Be prepared by bringing an empty bottle and filling it up at the water fountain.
Want Starbucks for your flight? Don't buy it at the location prior to security. There's a second location after security near gates A16-A30. With the people-mover ramps, you can get there quickly.- Best USAirways club is on the A East Concourse above gates A6/A7

PHX has it dialed in for the holiday; super smooth! Kudos.
Use PreCheck in Terminals 2 & 4 for getting through TSA quickly.
Frontier in Terminal 3 is easy and convenient!!!
Jackelope in T3 makes a surprisingly good breakfast burrito. Ask for it with no meat.

Things all airports need (and Sky Harbor doesn't have): places with tables to sit and work, and bathroom stall doors that swing out.

Benjamin SApril 5, 2013Term 2 - Only had 1 of 5 security lanes open. Line was only about 30 people deep but it still took almost a half hour to get thru security. Come early to this airport!!!
Here's hoping you aren't in terminal 2 (as of 2015 as they are slowly getting ready to replace it).
SkyMallSeptember 17, 2010Park on the roof of terminal 2, it’s cheaper than parking at any other terminal and it’s closer than the economy lots to all terminals
If you're too lazy to walk, and too fat to get out of the way on the moving walkway, go get on one of those golf carts they have. This is not a pre-diabetic conveyor belt.
