- Brandon CainApril 19, 2018I think American Airlines goes out of their way to make short layovers and then places the other flight 2947925 miles away
- Colette KleinSeptember 22, 2014If renting a car, when returning it, make sure to check your baggage in at the car return. It makes travel super easy.
- Terminal 4 is the best! I always fly Southwest and look forward to some guac and a drink at Barrio before I fly out!
- Jess JJanuary 4, 2017No where to nurse or pump. Pods are located OUTSIDE of security. Sitting on the floor outside of gate B15. Real neat.
- JerryDecember 30, 2010Great place for a layover....lots of food places spread out across the various terminals. Also not a bad place to watch people if you're a people watcher. Also free Wi-Fi :)
- Smile, it goes a long way anywhere but especially here in Phoenix. Happy people attract and help happy people.
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)September 10, 2013Parking at the Airport? Enter and exit using your credit/debit card. No need to take a ticket! http://skyharbor.com/creditcardexpress/
- KeatonAugust 5, 2013Dropping off the parents. It is best to have your tickets in a place where you can easily get them, not in your suit case.
- Check out the Starbucks in the middle between concourse E and F in terminal 3
- Sara MathewJanuary 8, 2013Seriously the nicest people. If you're flying United use the curbside checkin, you'll avoid all the lines and the guys are super friendly!!
- Fox Concepts rocks the entire airport with amazing food. Go early for dinner!
- Only decent and half way healthy food in Terminal 2 is at TapAZ. Surprisingly good tapas and salads
- ozeas da silvaAugust 18, 2013Leaving early? Come early! If morning make sure you have. Breakfast and get an extra sandwich to take in the plane.
- Luz GRNovember 10, 2017This airport has lots of things to offer, it’s great for a layover and the flights are almost never late
- Veronica OrtizAugust 2, 2014Very pretty! There is Starbucks like everywhere and the best part of the airport is that have free i-fi
- If you're looking for the Starbucks CityMugs, the location at Gate B15 is the only one that has them.
- Hai TranMarch 20, 2013Love the airport traffic controller here and how connections are always always from one end of terminal to the completely opposite side.
- C BayugaSeptember 2, 2015Decent speeds from the TWC hotspot here at gate C6. MosDef faster than the free BOINGO, but slow free is better than no free.
- Lots of US planes here. Long shuttle ride from car rental center. If you have time, eat at Mikes Big Breakfast.
- Alison FaganApril 18, 2018Easy to navigate airport, security always quick. Could do with better/healthier dining options
- Kennerh BAugust 15, 2014When I get to the seats before everyone else, I point all the air conditioner vents at my chair.
- Always a great place to volunteer at, go Navigators!! :)

- The car rentals are really far from the airport. Don't worry, you haven't accidentally gotten on the Grand Canyon tour bus, but do plan an extra 10 minutes to or from the terminal.
- Darrell AshwoodFebruary 13, 2019Everything is closed after 10. Eat dinner before you come for late flights!
- Have a drink ticket you can't use? Give it to the little old ladies. A glass of wine takes the edge off while traveling.
- Figured out a cool trick. If you're on southwest and you fly business select, reprint your boarding pass at the kiosk before security and you'll also get another drink ticket :)
- MGM2 weeks agoEven if you have pre check it can be a bit of a wait. Everyone seems to have Clear here.
- SkyMallMarch 9, 2011If you are waiting to pick your loved ones up from Terminal 2 in Phoenix, try the Ocotillo Sun restaurant and bar. Its located before security and has meals with a southwestern flavor.
- Surprisingly international airport but some areas need updates. Nice views of the mountains on take off and landings.
- If you've got time, enjoy a fresh pour-over coffee at Citadel, right across from gate C 14.
- If you're in terminal 4 late, check out Paradise Bakery at gate C17. Open 24/7 and street prices. Bottle of water is only $1.75!
- AshJanuary 7, 2014Check out the Zinc Brasserie for delicious food and drinks. Kieth makes a beautiful Manhattan.
- Use East Economy lot, check bags in curbside, and relax on tram ride over to terminal :)
- Free wifi and plenty of good eats. Southwest terminal is definitely the way to go
- Courtney KApril 10, 2012Time to kill between flights in terminal 4? If you don't mind going back out thru security there's lots of shopping & a mini art gallery in the main section.
- LeahFebruary 1, 2011Tip for the woman on the last flight: it's usually easier to hit on the much younger, hot guy sitting next to you on the plane if you don't have your eight year old daughter in tow.
- Carla TSeptember 14, 2013The best dog park I have ever seen at an airport (though likely more for the drug sniffing dogs lol)
- Modern Burgers has the best food in gates A1-A12! Always fresh.
- If you're in the D concourse and sitting by gate 7... Watch your step! The view out the widow is nice, but watch the real birds inside searching the floor for crumbs! :)
- Steve WrightMay 10, 2013Sky Harbor's employees are a lot less murderous than the Philly airport crew. Nice job, Sky Harbor, you aren't psychotics!
- David BakerMay 24, 2013As much traffic as this gets, it has a surprisingly dated feel to it without so many things that an airport in a major city would be expected to have. Few clubs, no business center, limited food....
- MashableAugust 17, 2011There's free wi-fi here, so no need to miss that important email...or a chance to play some Angry Birds.
- Rainet LewisMarch 24, 2012This airport is big & it gets crowded quickly especially in the afternoon. Make reservations early & be there at the airport on time. Some flights maybe delayed, but just be patient.
- If you rent a car give yourself plenty of time on the return. The facility is far away and the bus ride to the airport can get crowded.
