AirTrain closes at 11pm tonight (Saturday). There is a shuttle on the arrivals level though. Also only Terminal C has Chase Bank ATMs.

Great if you are flying United. Not so good for other airlines. Taxis to NYC are mad sketchy. Food is at least decent now.
Beware of Air Train - in my experience, it's often more hassle than it's worth. Especially if you're trying to catch a flight - give yourself lots of time!
Full of angry people. Also hardest NYC airport to get to or out of.
The people working at Brooklyn Deli in terminal C are disorientingly pleasant. Go there!
TSA precheck is awesome: curbside to gate at term C in under 5 minutes!
Try to stay by your gate, specially when your flight has been delayed because they can change the time and gate on you!

The best time of the day to fly in/out is the early morning. Delays build throughout the day!

Diane WonchMay 17, 2016This is the worst most impolite place to which you may have to travel! The A terminal is dirty, crowded and the TSA staff are rude. You can be efficient without shouting and throwing bins around!
There are planes here. They zoom through the sky like birds. I like turtles.

AndrewApril 27, 2016Very poor airport; dated interior with poor choice of retail & food outlets. The queues for passport checks & security are way too long. TSA usually have 1 person despite 50+ people in a queue!
Ticketing is on the 2nd floor now at terminal B. got a little confused at first.
The United Cub by gate 102 is like an international first class lounge.
You'll get a full body pat down if you want to bring your kids juice
