Buy food before security, there are not many choices after you pass TSA check
The easiest NYC airport to get to but not the cleanest and pretty old.
No matter what airline your fly, make sure you're at the gate 45 minutes to an hour prior to departure. Doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. Airplanes don't wait for you, YOU wait for airplanes.
Lots of dining options in terminal C but baggage is almost always delayed.- TSA Pre-Check is not open at 4:00 for early flights. Security is only open at C1 so plan extra time.

Women’s restrooms ALL had long lines at 7:45am. Very poor planning on that front. There are more Cibo Expresss than ladies rooms

Terminal C is the only somewhat nice one. Hope you don’t need an elevator, they’re usually out of order.
I will always remember the one time I flew out of Terminal B when the fire alarm went off for 5 minutes.
Don't piss off the crabby tsa at 4:30 in the morning.
