Keep an eye out for TMZ and their celebrity photogs... They might just lead you to someone famous.

People always get lost, but they shouldn't. If you miss your terminal, just loop around again!
If you are flying Virgin America and want to get on a earlier flight with stand by. Remember they charge $25.00 if the flight is not the flight right before your original flight.
Next tune leave from Burbank. Or Long Beach. Or Orange County. Or Ontario. Or just walk. It'll be a better overall experience.
It's old and broken and not all that pleasant, but it's a hub with destinations around the entire Americas and across both oceans.
If you're arriving internationally, wear comfortable shoes. It's a *long* walk from plane to immigration.

If I had a free day, I would spend it sitting in Arrivals, and bawling as long lost loves reunited.
Have your friends pick up at the departure level instead of the arrivals area. A LOT less congested traffic upstairs in the departures area.

Have a friend or family member drop you off at your terminal if possible. Leaving your car in the lot is such a hassle.

Coffee lines in the morning are horrible!! Another note AA is totally messed up here checking in was retarded. And the escalator to security almost killed a group of people as the line stopped at top
If you're heading here from Pasadena, know 110 S entrance ramps are closed through early November. Find an alternative route out and give yourself extra time.
TSA at the pre-check at T6 may be the most unprofessional agents of all time, one supervisor even had a fit and attempted to help me miss my flight, sorry buddy, but I made it...

Safe travels- Tuesday AM flights tend to have more TSA lines open- security moves quicker than any other time.
Long Layover? Call the nearby Custom Hotel (the only boutique hotel at LAX) and ask for a layover rate. Free shuttle 5am - 2am.
I was impressed with the Korean taco food truck inside terminal four.
You naturally only got to this part of the airport because your private jet had a mechanical failure!
