- If you arrive in Terminal 1 and don't want to sit on the shuttle through bad airport traffic, walk to terminal 7 using the ground level sidewalk.
- Heads up if you're taking airport shuttle from Alaska to connect to AA, Delta, etc. Shuttle stops at 11PM & there's no sign or personnel to tell you. Walk is 10 minutes and you have to redo security.

- Always fly Southwest, since they're the first terminal for departure... Easy in. Lol
- Don't take your laptop out, belt off, leave your shoes on, jacket on... Your own security line. TSA Precheck. Look into it.

- Park at the park near in and out on sepulveda until whoever you're picking up lands and is waiting....driving around lax terminals is not fun
- Erin BJune 24, 2011If you're in terminal 3 & the security line blows, they have an "additional" security screening line downstairs that's MUCH faster!
- If AA bag check lines are long, go to curb side bag checking. Always faster! Don't forget to tip them
- The delta terminal is really nice. Bummer you have to fly delta in order to use it.
- Terminal 6 Alaska seems very easy at the moment. More efficient bag check which is nice.

- EddieMarch 21, 2012LAX TSA is going to randomly put you thru the XRay machine. If you opt out theyre going to pat you down. Plan accordingly.
- Have a friendly chat with the tsa agent if you get checked. They're people too, and can make the experience a whole lot better.
- It was very crowded and the lines for security were ridiculously long.
- If you're dropping off luggage curb-side, tip to guarantee your luggage arrives along with you. Depending on the urgency, $2-$5 per bag
- Kristin KramssDecember 26, 2011Watch out if TSA checks your bag. They throw everything into a pile and when you tell them to repack the bag they continuously ask "ma'am are you sure you want me to repack your bag" so lazy...
