VEGAS TIP: Fly Southwest/Park in Park One/Do not check bags/Pay for a A-List upgrade (unless u already r a-list)/Sit close to front of plane for easy out/Lastly... 2 in the air is like 4 down there.
If your flight departs sometime during the morning hours, make sure to get there VERY early. The TSA line is typically extremely busy.
Wear heAdphones. The music in the airport will make you want to slit your wrists. Possibly most depressing soundtrack in the world.- Try to avoid the CPK in Terminal 1...not worth the hassle.

The wifi in the American Airlines terminal is no bueno!! Don't fall for purchasing the 1 hour plan. All you'll do is drain your battery & they don't have enough charging stations!

TSA Pre-Check is gold. Also, shortcuts to terminal 5 an 7 are in the left hand lane

Allow plenty of time to get into the airport - esp with the construction

United Level 4 TSA check in above ticket is shortest security line I've ever seen at LAX. Don't forget to remove your flip flops.

LAX will be under construction until the day the world ends. Food options are limited and TSA lines are always longer than your actual flight time. Basically, my home base airport sucks.

Write down where you parked and remember arrivals and departures are on two different levels... Not a fun place to get lost after a long flight
Have someone picking you up? Tell them to do so at DEPARTURES upstairs. Less traffic and confusion.
The self check-in with United is pretty cool but get ready to pay to check in your luggage.
If flying Virgin America or Jet Blue, be sure to eat beforehand. Eatery options are limited. And don't expect to find an outlet to charge your items. Plan ahead.
Rosie JuarezAugust 11, 2013My experience hasn't been so terrible here. I think that if you plan ahead and give yourself enough time to go through security and get to your gate you'll be good. Terminal 3 food joints are lame.
Try to time arrival at LAX so you walk onto the jet bridge at the gate.
Terminal 1 has evolved into something almost human. Borders on nice.
Do we really have to exit the terminal to re-enter our connecting, why yes we do says the TSA agent. Thanks for the assistance TSA!

Don't be late to your flight because your having to much fun at the bar with ur friends lol- Things I've learned during a year of travel: Fly Delta, Frontier or Virgin. Avoid Spirit at all costs! It's worth the extra money for a solid, courteous airline. Read more
