Regardless of which airline you fly or your class of service, there are 2 public lounges passengers can pay to use: Luxx Lounge in Terminal 1 and Sky Lounge in Terminal 2. $40-60 USD - so helpful.
It's average. Big. Good navigation. If you're new to the big airports and you need to change terminals, there's a high chance that you'll be lost. Border police is shit as usual, ACAB. So be warned
Looks like a hospital when glance at the windows of airport. The feelings remind as like in the war movies. If to compare with Schiphol,Fra port is out of warm.
Electric outlets can only be found at Lufthansa Senators Lounge. No desk to work on, just comfy chairs. Internet is limited to 30 minutes of free use. Comparing FRA with MUN, I choose Munich anyday.
Well the authorities at the airport are certainly on high alert as they now consider snow globes to be possible weapons of mass destruction which needs to be analyzed by a special giant machine.
This is my least favorite airport on Earth. It's sprawling but poorly indicated. Connections with enough time get stressful because they're frequently more than an hour of walking and queuing away.
Fraport is unable to manage short connections. Baggage has gone lost 4x times (basically every time when there’s a short connection at transfer). Get prepped.
Dirtytoilets. Lufthansa service centre T1 Z (other T1 one closed). If your Lufthansa-purchased flight is operated by a partner airline, you must exit the airport to get boarding pass from check-in.
Frankfurt Airport is Germany's largest aviation hub with more than 70 million passengers in 2019. More than 100 airlines fly to 275 destinations in 111 countries with approximately 1,400 flights per day.
