The lines at terminal Z inter flights are ridiculous. It is a choke point and uncomfortable. Considering Germany is very orderly I find this to be an embarrassment. They need to find a better way.

Best coffee at FRA can be found between gate A21 and A23, Italissimo.
Security is operated by lazy people whose inefficiency would indicate that they're on special contracts making it difficult to fire them. Go for the Priority lane if possible.

Watch out carefully for your gate. Especially the A-Gates are spread all around the Terminal 1...

If you're flight leaves in Terminal B, use the left of the 2 entrances to security (between B and C). Mostly less queues.
