Make sure you remove your laptop power supply from your bag at security. Put it in a bin with your laptop. This will facilitate going through

If you have a long stop over then you can go to the business lounge for euro 25 or senator lounge for euro 40

Shopping here isn't worth it. Things cost much more than street price (before duty free). You will still have to get to customs counter to get taxes back.
Try to find gate B15. A well hidden gem in the maze of FRA. Who designed this terminal and which type of drugs was he/she on???
If you have to go to zone C in Terminal 1, do it as late as possible. There is almost no cafe behind security check.

Unless you have Premier access, arrive 3 hrs before your flight!!If you are looking for German efficiency, this is NOT the place. Their security makes the TSA look like a well oiled machine.
