- There's a wide selection of food and duty free shops in the departure lounge. Wifi is also available.
- Dmitry IvashchenkoJanuary 26, 2015Love this airport. Many things to do while you are waiting for your flight.
- Sina KhanlouJanuary 6, 2017What charmed me the most about this airport, was the security control. The officials and equipment were too high-tech & cutting-edge! 😃
- Terminal 1 is fantastic and huge. However, expect long security queue. Terminal 2 is functional but not loaded with food/shopping options; departure security is at individual flight boarding gates
- An airport built up at the expense of passenger comfort. Changing planes here can easily take 1 hour of running around long passage ways. Not a viable hub for international journeys
- Terminal B showers are up stairs near the restaurant's only 6 euro. Nice and clean for a refreshing shower.
- Rudi VansnickNovember 26, 2013Very nice airport, good connections, come often through Frankfurt for my International flights
- Aina ArtolaMarch 13, 2014No need to pay for tea and coffee while waiting. There're Lufthansa complimentary machines next to some gates, look for them! :)
- Ian FordJanuary 31, 2015If you are looking for something vegan to eat, coffee fellows has two bagel sandwiches that fit the bill
- Sultan~August 8, 2014All tax free claiming offices are in terminal 2 ... Allow enough time for passing the security checks & "commuting" in this huge airport 😥
- Aleksch P.August 8, 2014Amazing airport, international hub. Security controls tend to last forever sometimes, but that's okay considering the amount of passengers.
- Althea StearnsAugust 14, 2014Go to Meyer for a great cup of coffee and fresh panini. Try the Provincial with Chicken.
- Salamander SalJanuary 10, 2015Heberer in Z area of terminal 1 is fantastic if looking for pretzel bakery!
- David OjserkisMay 1, 2012Love this airport. Best shopping on the planet and every food item is somehow made with pretzels...
- Electric outlets can only be found at Lufthansa Senators Lounge. No desk to work on, just comfy chairs. Internet is limited to 30 minutes of free use. Comparing FRA with MUN, I choose Munich anyday.
- San MDecember 18, 2018After getting your boarding card you have long way to reach your gate so don’t underestimate queues you have for scanning and visa control.
- Karen MeenanNovember 17, 2011That wine you bought at the duty free shop? It's gotta go into your checked luggage after customs. So, be sure you save some room in those bags. Otherwise, you'll be pouring it into 3oz containers.
- If you arrive early on a United business class flight go to the Lufthansa arrivals lounge
- D e v r i mJune 9, 2016Well decorated with technology, impossible to get lost, you can enjoy every minute
- Everything is a long walk. Allow extra time at this airport. Automated self boarding at the gates speed things up
- If your plane is departing from an A gate, get to the gate earlier than '30 minutes prior to boarding.' You still have a bus ride to the Tarmac and it's not going to wait around.
- A variety of shops , restaurants if you are lucky enough and your flight is not too early
- Frankfurt Airport (FRA)February 20, 2015Check out our latest list with all shops you will find at Frankfurt Airport! Read more
- John BristolFebruary 25, 2017Be sure to know what terminal your plane departs from before you get here. The shuttle drivers do not know which airlines serve which terminal like they do in the US, for example.
- jacquelynOctober 5, 2012I spent a week here one day. it's much better now. try mobile boarding passvand sms for gate updates cuz they're better than trying to find info on monitors
- Declan McMahonSeptember 16, 2011After arriving off a long haul flight and while waiting to transfer, visit the duty free for the free samples of aftershave and perfume! It'll freshen you up!!
- Terminal 1, A, Gate 22, Nykke & Kokki Take Away Lounge - They have the best Cappuccino, plus it's even organic!
- A really huge airport, free wifi and a lot of places to sit
- Anna FerugaDecember 18, 2014Clean and spacious airport. The corridor between 1 and 20 gate is very long and the distance may be tiring
- A huge duty-free, do not forget to sign up for club card and get 10% discount
- Rogerio NascimentoNovember 30, 2014Huge! The connection from the train to the plane takes time. Take care with that.
- Telekom gives 30 min free internet access - just enough for that urgent crisis mail on the pc
- I like it as a connection airport. Really good setup for that.
- Sean KimAugust 17, 2014Tax refund process was highly improved comparing last year! But the inspectors in airport, they treat the travellors like a prison! I really felt like a I'm a crimnal..
- Anna BananaSeptember 6, 2016I don't get why they need to write A 1 and at the gate A 1 is completely different flight because A 1 is fucking area and later on it was added 26. So finally gate is A 26 at the different place
- Lots of amenities, go to your gate early & there is usually something nearby
- JustinAugust 6, 2014Great and big enough to know where to go except you want to go to a service point in the morning
