Tomaz MurausFebruary 4, 2016They have been renovating arrivals / departures entrances way too long. There are also no toilets at baggage claim in the terminal one because of the renovations.
Be prepared for a long walk if you have to change terminals!

This airport is becoming a nightmare lately. Tight connections by #Lufthansa and almost missed my flight ... I did last time.
June Young ChoiFebruary 21, 2013Not the best airport to transit. Layout of the airport is a mess and restricted number of food and beverage facilities inside the airside. Be prepared to wait 45-60min at Immigration if you land 6am+
I've been to much better airports, I'm wondering why many ppl says Frankfurt airport is in the top 10.
Very few shops in the "D" area. Buy your gadgets before passing security check.
Make sure to have at least 1h from domestic to international terminals ... Never seen an airport with that many people running for their flights ...
Free hot drinks for transfer passengers and wi-fi for one hour
Try to avoid the buses- its a long walk from the different terminals

Have a sausage at Hausmann's, especially if you have a layover.

Worst airport ever! Systematic shuttle to gates. 1hwait for the hotel shuttles. Rude people @Europcar, they send you to other T at 11pm so you loose 1h30 going and waiting with 10 other people instead

MaryOctober 2, 2013Traveling through this airport is a huge pain! Signs are unclearly marked and the staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. Most likely it will be very crowded so come early!!

One of the worst airports. B Gates split into separate areas and so is shopping area. Meaning if you want to go to the shops nearby other B Gates you have to exit and then go again through security.>
