The Panorama balcony is only available BEFORE security - so don’t go looking for it during your layover.
Super big, lots of shopping and food. Long walks between gates
It is a nice comfortable airport, with a lot of shops, and friendly / helpful staff.
In international terminal (E,F) find a nice sofa in the KMN internet center with wifi internet - upstairs just next to the food court

You can get a free Lycamobile simcard and with 10 euro activate a international data plan! ( And save a lot of money )

Absolute bliss to pass through security check as there is no need to take out laptop and they allow water to pass through as well.
Visit the Panorama terrace for a great view on aircrafts and platforms. You see your family, friends or guests arriving (or flying away) and you will have enough time to walk to arrivals.
Never take risk to get to your gate on time, always go to your gate 10-20 minutes earlier just in case because gates could change. Happened to me many times and one time almost missed my flight.

Amazing well designed airport. When entering know which direction to head or it could be quite a walk.

Great shops inside and out. Very quick getting through security and most lines move fast.
Restrooms with a view of the airport: awesome. Located near D concurses next to the Burger King playground, upstairs. Worth a visit
MACApril 5, 2023Fairly ok airport. Directions are clear for English-speaking tourists. Baggage took ages though, only 20 belts available. Multiple arrival flights sharing the same belt caused overcrowding.Upvoted Oct 8
The security check in departure terminal 1 has been upgrades. Now semi-automated and looking more spacious. Join privium border passage club and fly through even faster.
If you have long waiting time go to terrace. All the way up. Free wifi and perfect for parents with their kids!

Very nice airport, a lot of shops, restaurants and interestings about flying like plane constructions etc. Wi-Fi IS free- Lots of shopping can be done, before and after check in. Quite efficient even after the security upgrades. Suitcase on the conveyor belt with 10 minutes after being there.
1hour free Wi-Fi with KPN. Nice airport with good connection to Amsterdam. Good choice of hotels at airport for a layover.

Large, clean, fast and with great connections worldwide. Worth investing in Privium access if commonly used.
