- Jason LimNovember 9, 2015If you have any access baggage and don't want to pay access. Go to the bag depo and call the delivery company and they will contact u later. Depo is in between arrival gate 1 and 2.
- Skip the McDonalds - and grab a coffee and an omelette at the Amsterdam Cafe upstairs.

- To kill time: go outlet shopping near departures/arrivals 1-2 sign, outside of customs. Good deals on designer bags especially if you look carefully.
- One of THE MOST cleanest restrooms you’ll ever seen in an airport. My god it looked better than a 4 star modern hotel.

- If traveling internationally, leave some time for security at the gate. The KLM lounge has good food/drinks but take some time to wonder around this unique airport.
- Bryan PowerSeptember 18, 2017VAR Customs stamp (Global Blue, etc) is all the way at the end of Terminal 3. Need to do this before going through security. Leave at least one hour to get through line
- One of the best airports in Europe, definitely a great location for a stop over!
- The whisky special offer of the month is usually excellent. Also available for intra-EU passengers.

- CarmenSeptember 10, 2015Give more than one hour if you're connecting to US bound flights. They close doors 20 min before advertised take off and you need an extra security check close to the center of the airport.
- Loads of food and drink options once you get behind security. Try to check out the Rijksmuseum exhibit while you wait to fly!
- MauriceApril 1, 2017Modern airport with a smooth way to go through customs. There is a big train station under the entrance hall.
- Very clean and spacious airport. Budget airlines have their own terminal with less food and shops.
- Visit the rijksmuseum outpost and enjoy the kitschy Holland Branding at holland boulevard (terminal E). And don't buy cheese, you stupid!

- MertApril 22, 2013x-ray cabines from the year 2079 but still squuezin your body with their "secure" hands (from year 2000 B.C.) . You lose 2 hours of your precious lifetime in this lazy airport. two thumbs down.
- Best airport so far, but very busy. Good shopping, good food, excellent lounge (KLM).

- Nora I نوراOctober 4, 2021I’ve been at the airport for more than 4 hours between the check in to the gate. The service was so slow and bad. Many people missed Thier flight and rescheduled for later!! It was a nightmare.
- Ah not a bad airport to stop over in... Plenty of shops but chewing gum has been banned and no stores sell it
- ℋumorousOctober 17, 2010If you have a long layover, take the train into the city and spend a few hours there. Don't be scared it is safe! Take a boat tour, or just have lunch.
- Do you know you can have 1 hour of free WiFi? Just connect to the Schiphol_Airport_WiFi, go online and accept license. Have fun!
- Even things that are "not possible" are possible if you can make the hospitable Dutch crack a smile.

- Feeling sleepy? Head to Holland Boulevard and upstairs you will find a lounge full of comfy seats! Plus you can't beat the view!

- Easily one of the finest airport in whole Europe.. Just love it
- Beware of pickpockets. Don't forget to tap your OV-chipkaart before boarding and/or get off the train.
