- jeyoDecember 26, 2015Clean, efficient, and friendly :) get here at least an hour before your flight to give yourself enough time!
- Tim RussoSeptember 17, 2013If your arriving at Gate 22-34- See Darlene for the best shoe shine in town..... and she has some funny stories!
- Lots of construction going on right now, so where you went last time might be different the next time. Watch for signs.
- Lots of changes continuing to take place in A concourse, security access areas have changed, make sure you look for signage.
- Just a heads up if u r taking the train and only there for the day break down and get the day pass its 14 bucks and worth it
- I've started to make it a habit of getting to the airport with only 15 minutes until boarding for my weekly flights. Security is always quick. Hasn't failed me yet!
- Terminal C is actually two different terminals with the same name. They can get away with it though since there is a bus inside security to take you back and forth between the two.
- GE AviationNovember 15, 2011FDR selected the building site for Reagan National Airport in 1938. Much of the land was underwater at the time so almost 20 million cubic yards of sand and gravel were moved onto the site.
- Not a lot of great food selections but you can grab a drink.
- One of the most beautiful airports in the country. Excited for the modernization project in progress.
- Nice small airport. Quick shuttle can take you between terminals and rental car pick up/drop off
- Tania RionFebruary 10, 2017Great food court full of different options for when you are stuck with a delayed flight
- Take the escalator from baggage claim upstairs to the bridge that takes you to the Blue line metro stop. Wave bye bye to the TSA.
- OMG! TSA Pre! Go through security with your shoes, belt and dignity intact. This is worth every dollar. Get it now!
- Great airport. Very quick in and out. Not many options for sit down food but they are expanding in terminal C
- Shaw_GirlSeptember 16, 2011If you're on Weight Watchers but need a somewhat healthy breakfast, get the Dunkin' Donuts Egg White Toasted Flatbread Sandwich. Turkey sausage or veggie, each only 7 points!
- Danielle HotardJanuary 3, 2016great free wi-fi, lots of charging stations, and plenty of iPads to use
- William TollMay 10, 2013As usual bad design is evident everywhere. With most Americans traveling with giant cabin baggage why is the entry to the men's room a mini-maze that going in and going out traffic can't pass?
- Terminal D may have the best food selection from Chinese style steamed food to Five guys to Dunkin’ …
- Kimberly WongMarch 19, 2013The Yellow and Blue metro lines go directly to this airport, easy breezy! The BEST way to get here. #travel #traveltips
- Paul RasmussenFebruary 20, 2017One of the better US airports. Especially good when contrasted with the dumpster fire that is Dulles.
- Hit up Five Guys for a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese.. Or try the breakfast burrito from Cal Tor - best options in US Airways terminal for morning munchies.
- jon accarrinoJanuary 15, 2014Remember when the Sky Priority security and check in lanes were faster than regular lanes?
- Walter WhitakerMay 27, 2014Easy to get to and from using the metro! Best way to get to DC unless you're the president!
- You can spot any C list douchebag elected rep here peacocking that you like. My favorite is Mitch McConnell, he looks terrified amongst us peasants.
- Rajneesh MisraJanuary 21, 2013Many cabs are cash only. Ask before you board. There are many that take CC also. Just tell the guy directing cabs that you need to pay by CC.
- Morgan FlemingMay 15, 2013If u are connecting here don't grab a coffee until you reach your gate. U might have to go back through security (I just chugged a latte ew)
- SamsoniteMay 3, 2011Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is near the former site of Abingdon, a colonial plantation and the birthplace of President George Washington's granddaughter, Eleanor Parke Custis.
- None of the terminals are connected beyond security (B/C is, but you have to walk down stairs and take a shuttle). So leave plenty of connection time.
- Shoe shines in Terminal A are some of the best around. If you have some extra time to kill this a great way to spend it!
- Nice airport, love that the metro is connected! Lots of choices you eat.
- The pick up and drop off can be a hot mess, especially with all the ride shares.
- Remember to check the FLIGHT SCREENS! !!!!!! gate changes do occur be smart. check only your luggage not your brain when traveling
- Jennie ChanApril 7, 2014Cheapest place to get water in the AA concourse in Terminal B? Potbelly's. If you're paying more than 2.40 for a big bottle, you're getting ripped off more than you would anyways.
- Knowing which side of the airplane to sit on so you can see the monuments, memorial, Capitol, etc. depends on which direction you're landing/leaving. Happy travels.
- If you have Clear and TSA Pre, your time through security will be easy breezy!
- TSA lines are always short and the flights are much more extensive than folks think. I have not used IAD in years.
- They put these out front when you're waiting to be picked up because the government wants to send you a reminder of how much you're getting screwed
- When it is slammed going through gates 23-34, you might not want to go in the priority line because they funnel one of the other lines into 1 tsa employee. Takes fucking forever.
- I fly in and out of DCA whenever I can. There is little hassle if any for lines and it flows fairly nicely.
- Dab GarnerJuly 15, 2013One of the easier airports to get through security in a timely manner. My gate had decent food vendors nearby. I always use National when flying to DC.
- Taylor Gourmet is now open for gates 23-34. Queen Lane breakfast sandwich is amazing!
- PatrickNovember 3, 2011Left side of the plane when flying in. On the right side you never get a view of the National Mall on the left there is a chance if you land on the right runway.
- Scenic views flying in and out. Kind of crowded and old airport. Avoid in regards to traffic
