Besides the Airport Museum, there's a lot of public art here! Check out the Paul Coze mural in T-2, stained glass in T-3, and a dichromatic glass install at the Rental Car Center.

If you're checking a bag for Delta late at night, go up 2 floors to the ticket counter. Faster than the downstairs check in.

The tram ride to the rental car center is a process. Everything is very spread out, so allow some extra time.

The pet relief area is not too shabby. Head outside the baggage claim exit and look for the chained fence area about 20 feet to your left when exiting the doors.

Short pre-check line. There's a Lolo Fried chicken and waffle in terminal 4 that doesn't charge you exorbitant airport price for great food

Get TSA Pre-check clearance and speed thru security 90s style in 1 minute. Well worth the $100 application fee if you regularly fly US Airways.

Hungry? I'm sorry. The main food area is always congested and the other options are a couple of terminals over. Not a fun hike. Beautiful views though.

Pack a lunch if you rent a car as the car rental location is off site and takes a while to get to via the free shuttle

American Airlines and US Airways are located in terminal 4. There a decent number of restaurants and other food choices in this terminal

The terminal gate seating area, restrooms, eateries and other passenger support amenities are scarce based on the aircraft type and passenger loads using this terminal's gatehouse area.

Remember this airport loops back around, My wife almost always misses her terminal and has to loop back around. So if you miss your terminal don't panic just follow the signs back around.

If arriving at Terminal 4, exit thru Door 1 on the north side, cross to the center island, and turn left to board the free shuttle to the light rail. That's the last stop; next stop is the station.

FREE PHX Airport Shuttle to or from the 44th Street and Washington METRO light rail stop, it is the silver and black bus with the electronic display that reads: METRO light rail & Airport Terminals.

1.0 hour layover. Hmmm what to do. USAirways nice spacious comfy seats. Not like those cramped United or American seats.

soooooo if you leave your water bottle with water in your bag, they escort you out of the line to pour it out, then start the security line again. So inefficient! Why not just let me drink it.

Best restaurants to try in PHX area are Miracle Mile Deli, Greasewood Flat, Cowboy Ciao, Rojkari, Binkley's, St. Francis and Beckett's Table.

God forbid you land in this God-damned airport after 9:00 p.m. Your one option for any smidgen of nourishment in Terminal 2 will be a Pepsi/Aquafina vending machine. Screw off Phoenix!

T4 has SW Kiosks right by security checkpoints so you don't have to wait in line downstairs if you forgot to print your ticket.
