- Lisa LFebruary 17, 2013The dessert with the olive oil and kumquat is off the chain. Sit at the bat and ask the bartender for a recommendation. You will not regret it.
- Nicoline von FinckJune 22, 2011The food was delicious! Especially loved the prosciutto and arugula pizza. The gellato was extraordinary. Affordable and delicious, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice group dinne
- The Food SlutsJune 26, 2012Great pizza, pasta but incredible ice cream. And the best thing? Almost the entire menu is available for takeout! Read more
- Lily van DiepenNovember 17, 2010It's pretty hard to go wrong here, but the best are, Pizza: Quattro Formaggi, Pasta: Pasta alla Norma (roasted eggplant & dollop of creamy ricotta). Veg antipasti faves: lentils, beets & white beans
- Kelly SchneiderNovember 21, 2015Great place for large groups! We had 16 people and they were accommodating and so patient. Pizza is amazing!
- Cacio y Pepe pizza is really tasty. Vongole pizza includes the shells but is very good
- Michael RoachAugust 30, 2017The food is fantastic and they have an impressive wine list. However, they have probably the worst service of any restaurant I've ever encountered. Decide which is more important and tip accordingly.
- !:gem:!July 15, 2012An over the top experience. Can't say enough about service, pizza, and DESSERTS. My new fav place in Manhattan. Exquisite and fun!!!
- Food NetworkAugust 10, 2011For amazing pastas, pizza with the freshest ingredients, and the world's creamiest gelato, you can't miss Mario Batlai's OTTO Enoteca Pizzeria in New York, NY. Find more tips at FN Local. Read more
- Vanessa BorgesOctober 7, 2016Great place to order pizza and wine. Noisy and crowded mostly for the young crowd that's ok. 🍷🍕
- Adam AverayJune 16, 2015Margherita DOP pizza = amazing. Simple but perfection. And you can't leave without trying the gelato afterwards.
- Kinjil MathurApril 12, 2015Haven't been in years but it's as good as I remember. Cacio y Pepe pizza for vegetarians is a good choice all around.
- Sumit PaulOctober 19, 2011I like their thin crust pepperoni pizza ... What I really go here for is the Gelato (try the creme fraiche gelato). It was everything I expected and more!
- Very extensive Italian wine selection, and great gelato. One of my favorite restaurants in New York.
- Carl-Adam ScheeleDecember 6, 2015Pancetta and Brussels sprout pizza great. Killer thing was the olive oil Icecream dessert - delicious!!
- Jessia MaJanuary 12, 2014Good spot for a first date. The food is good and cheap enough that someone can pick up the check. You can talk about Batali and if that fails it's loud, so awkward silences won't really be silent.
- HectorJune 9, 2015Not ready to call it top 5 of NYC pizza spots just yet, but the tomato sauce is some of the freshest and well balanced out there.
- Maria KolakowskaSeptember 6, 2014Great wine spot. Food selection is pretty limited, but if you're up for thin crust pizza or pasta, the options won't disappoint.
- Find. Eat. Drink.August 10, 2011Sommelier Michael Madrigale (Bar Boulud/Boulud Sud) says "I love going to the bar at Otto and getting a chilled bottle of Kofererhof Kerner with the anchovies and bread crumbs antipasti.”
- Russell HirschornDecember 25, 2015Classic italian, not like your typical NYC italian joint. Interesting wait system. Everything is delicious.
- Brought a group of 14 and was offered 60pp for food and unlimited beer/wine. Couldn't have worked out more amazing. I can't imagine having been that well fed for a group that big for anything less.
- Must get the olive-oil gelato with pomegranate seeds, orange sorbet and an anise-candy crunch! (Don't make the mistake of ordering just the regular olive-oil gelato.)
- David HochmanJanuary 11, 2013You have to make it to dessert. HAVE TO. Then have the Butterscotch Bonet or the Black & White. You cannot go wrong. SOOOOOO GOOD!!!
- Brittany HoAugust 4, 2011Love the pepperoni and prosciutto and arugula pizza. there's something really smoky about the pepperoni meat. Crispy, crunch pizza entirely the way thru the crust. Amazing!
- HeenaFebruary 7, 2015Love train board. Great wine. Brussel sprouts - flavor great but but overcooked. Goat cheese agnolotti was best dish. Truffle linguine was nothing special. Pizza is okay. Service was super slow.
- Garett PressAugust 24, 2015Everything is tasty but the pizza is somewhat lifeless. Certainly not a top NYC pie. Cheers to thin crust tho.
- Lauren MelcherApril 7, 2012Cauliflower and asparagus side dishes, mushroom pizza and olive oil gelato. My favorite meal in NYC (and surprisingly reasonable $)
- Halstead PropertyJune 13, 2013We anticipated the olive oil ice cream to be bland but were pleasantly surprised with its smooth texture and right amount of saltiness. Get caramel as your 2nd flavor for a new take on sweet and salty
- Rory ParnessAugust 21, 2014The duck, fig and smoked mozzarella pizza was insanely good. Save room for the Black & White gelato
- Ignacio FinolMarch 27, 2012Tell your friends its a Mario Batalli restaurant (don't tell them the cheapest one.) Avoid the pasta, get the eggplant appetizer & order a pizza with not a lot of tomato… (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

- Michael G.November 26, 2017Delicious food. Honey truffle ricotta pizza is incredible. Wine is overpriced, and the bathroom is not nice.

- EpicuriousAugust 23, 2010It should surprise no one that this Mario Batali restaurant has some of the best salads, pastas and pizza in NYC. Even better: you can take home a cookbook and recreate your favorite dishes at home!
- Richard RevillaJuly 5, 2015Pizza is good as well as other Italian dishes. Prices are reasonable. Staff is superb.
- Rebecca MazzaJanuary 27, 2017It is a great venue for large groups. Always end with the olive oil gelato!
- Carolina RevillaJune 24, 2015Amazing service. The food quality was great. Both pizza and pasta were delicious
- It's so freaking loud in here! If you can sit up near the bar area it's not as bad but in the back they crank up the AC. Be prepared to be screaming and shivering. The food is good so there's that.
- Dri BacciDecember 2, 2015Margherita pizza is a nice option if you are not (unbelievably!) in the mood for pasta!
- MarthaJanuary 11, 2015sit at the bar...best spot in the place. food, wine, hospitality are always excellent.
- PizzaSnobo pizzasnobo.comFebruary 20, 2011Good quality but the margherita pies have too much sauce and not enough cheese. We suggest you try a cheese plate, because the honey and cherry condiments are out of this world.
- Rose GMSeptember 15, 2010This is the best place in New York to take a date hands down. You can order $12 pizza or $9 pasta and use your remaining money to impress your date by ordering an expensive wine.
- Some of the best food and best wine in NYC at a fantastic reasonable price, the prosciutto pizza is to die for...
