- Sit at the bar and order the cheese or meat board, a salad, some pasta, and the vegetable sides like corn with fregola or peas and prosciutto.
- Great quartinos of wine for ~$12, great pasta dishes. Go during the late afternoon, sit at the bar.

- Brian KeyserJune 11, 2015The pizza might be good but I wouldn't know because they won't serve it to customers at bar tables. Apparently "Mario believes that when you eat pizza you need to have a seat." Then provide seats!
- Try the Aperol Spritz - Enjoy an Aperol Spritz at the bar at Otto and say hi to Dennis, the dean of Greenwich Village bartenders.

- If you are a tourist you should go here, but get a table and leave the bar to the regulars.
- Always, ALWAYS save room for the gelato. Seasonal coppeta is the best!
