Flying in and out of LAX offers me the pleasure of learning that most government employees aren't very happy. See for yourself!
Motorcycle cops + baggage are super agro. Don't show up with a burnt out taillight and don't park curbside if passengers are still inside. If ticketed, beware made up add-on infractions. Not joking.
Very simple to get around. Make sure to get there ahead of time and know the alternate routs as, roads leading to it are often temporarily shut off.
Wear shades through your entire experience here. The staff is much friendlier that way. Champaign Campaign.
This place is ALWAYS a fish market. ALWAYS. Come at least two hours before flight time. Foreigners, you have full permission to ogle.
TSA Pre-check! Sign up, I love it, I no longer feel molested for traveling :)

It usually only takes eight minutes before you can tell which airport personnel are hooking up.

Man foursquare for BB took forever to load up the check in screen. I thought it froze so I did a batt pull. Just let it work and it'll come to the check in menu.
Flying United? You'll get to your destination quicker driving. regardless of the distance. #worstairlineever

The McDonalds on the 2nd floor of the Thomas Bradley Int'l Terminal is your best bet for food between 1& 4 a.m.

Terminal 4 and 5 have the worse options for food at any airport terminal I’ve ever traveled too. And nothing is quick!

Richard R.July 9, 2012I've been to a lot of airports and nowhere else were the TSA agents nicer or more pleasant. No yelling. Lots of chatting.
The construction has completely screwed traffic. Buffer at least an extra hour just for traffic.
- Not all USB charge ports are working - at most cases, there are easily to connect your own charger.
If you get in late enough into terminal 6 the buses they say run between that and 4 actually don't so don't wait patiently like the sign says and walk out of security outside to 4. And no express lane
Maybe when the expansion and remodeling is complete it will be much better, but right now, oh dear.
