It's a new year, let the travel begin. I'm looking forward to the world of salon, spas and resorts I will visit this year. I hope I find my way to yours while on the journey. #lovemyjob
Dreaded my 6am visit to sad, depressing Terminal B... discovered they had completed food court renovations! Enjoyed Irving Coffee Roasters. Even got help checking in my bag. Getting to LGA still awful
If you're not taking a car service, take Q70 bus to Roosevelt, which connects to several trains that take you into the city! Fast-ish & save your $$ for fun in the city!
Taxi's are always waiting if you go all the way to the end of baggage claim and just after you turn the corner. Facing the doors turn right and walk all the way to the end.
IPads available to everybody for browsing. A nice touch. Although most of be people carry their own device. A lot of electrical outlets for charging. Excellent!Seats at the waiting area is not comfy.

Nov 2016 until further notice, add an addition 30min to 1 hour for your travel plans here. The construction will be a headache (and a missed flight) for the uninitiated.
There's a MetroCard vending machine right where you catch the M-60 bus (Manhattan-LaGuardia bus). From baggage claim level, follow signs to "buses to Manhattan." also buy at the convenience stores
LaGuardia is a tough airport to navigate. Leave it to the experts at Aaron Limousines Ltd to get you there and back www.limo.li or 516-236-5735 for a safe affordable ride to and from Long Island
Transport into Manhattan is easy...take the M60 bus from LaGuardia to 125th St, and grab the green line subway downtown. Each leg is $2.50 with a Metrocard -- beats paying $40 for a cab!
in at least the D gates in terminal B, there aren't a lot of dining options past the tsa screening area, so if you're hungry, i would suggest eating prior to going through security
LGA has made vast improvements from the time Biden called it a "third world country" There's still a long way to go, but some terminals are fantastic now with improved dining and restrooms, esp Term C
Whether u r a local or visitor there's plenty 2 do in the Big Apple! Consider City Food Tours 4 a fun & filling way 2 explore. If ur stuck at LAG, make ur own mini-tour @Papaya King & Joey's NY Pizza
Bisoux is fantastic food and adult-beverage wise. Just make sure you don't get too caught up in sampling the goods or else you might get paged for your flight. Not that I'd know. ;-)
Get here early! May 2016: security lines were LONG at 7am on a Friday Terminal B Gate C - even with pre-check. Thankfully I was saved by a United agent trying to clear the flight!
Flying through La Guardia Airport today? We have yummy food sampling events with Sabra hummus (near Gate D, before security) & PepsiNEXT (near Gate C, before security) from 1-5pm. Read more
Be sure to get a shoe shine from John outside the Admirals Club. Not only a great shine but a great guy and he'll do a free brush next time you swing by.
The staff for Delta were incredibly nice. I had never flown before and was nervous. Everything was clearly labeled and there were kiosks everywhere for people just to help if you had a question.
Despite it costing $150 to travel with a pet on most airlines, at least this airport is very petfriendly. Lots of space to rest, outside of the bag of course.
TSA TIP #3 Remove your laptop(s) and shoes/belts while waiting in line for the x-ray machines and carry them in your hands to be ready for the bins, remember laptops are placed in a bin by itself.
Back in NYC? Skip the taxiline and download the Uber iPhone / Android app to request a car on demand! Leaving the city? Check out all the cities Uber operates in http://uber.com/cities
Grab a seat at your terminal and use the free iPads to surf, plus order food, water, whatever and they will bring it right to you with no surcharge! No free wi-fi for your stuff though.
The airport has been redone and it’s beautiful but I had to get a wheelchair bc the walking is too much for my sciatica which decided to kill me. All in all it was a good experience at terminal B
Due to recent construction, add in an extra 35 mins to your "internal commute" as the signs are not clear on how to reach to your desired terminal. This tip is valid until their completion in 2020.
Here's my tip. Do everything in your power to get the hell out of this airport at your fastest pace. This place is the werst. We need a new spelling for how miserable of a building collection it is.

Get free Wi-Fi by connecting to Boingo, selecting complimentary sponsored Wi-Fi, download the Amazon app (make sure to delete it first if you already have it installed), and then reopen the browser!
Remember to take your laptop out from any case that you may have it in at security. Also, keep in mind wearing new socks (or at least socks without holes in them).
