Dreaded my 6am visit to sad, depressing Terminal B... discovered they had completed food court renovations! Enjoyed Irving Coffee Roasters. Even got help checking in my bag. Getting to LGA still awful
The Biergarten in Terminal C belts out indie jams and you can order all the sauerkraut and beer your heart desires via iPad, which is awesome because people suck.
Taxi's are always waiting if you go all the way to the end of baggage claim and just after you turn the corner. Facing the doors turn right and walk all the way to the end.

Nov 2016 until further notice, add an addition 30min to 1 hour for your travel plans here. The construction will be a headache (and a missed flight) for the uninitiated.
Here's my tip. Do everything in your power to get the hell out of this airport at your fastest pace. This place is the werst. We need a new spelling for how miserable of a building collection it is.
Transport into Manhattan is easy...take the M60 bus from LaGuardia to 125th St, and grab the green line subway downtown. Each leg is $2.50 with a Metrocard -- beats paying $40 for a cab!
There's a MetroCard vending machine right where you catch the M-60 bus (Manhattan-LaGuardia bus). From baggage claim level, follow signs to "buses to Manhattan." also buy at the convenience stores
LGA has made vast improvements from the time Biden called it a "third world country" There's still a long way to go, but some terminals are fantastic now with improved dining and restrooms, esp Term C
Bisoux is fantastic food and adult-beverage wise. Just make sure you don't get too caught up in sampling the goods or else you might get paged for your flight. Not that I'd know. ;-)
Whether u r a local or visitor there's plenty 2 do in the Big Apple! Consider City Food Tours 4 a fun & filling way 2 explore. If ur stuck at LAG, make ur own mini-tour @Papaya King & Joey's NY Pizza

Get here early! May 2016: security lines were LONG at 7am on a Friday Terminal B Gate C - even with pre-check. Thankfully I was saved by a United agent trying to clear the flight!
LaGuardia is a tough airport to navigate. Leave it to the experts at Aaron Limousines Ltd to get you there and back www.limo.li or 516-236-5735 for a safe affordable ride to and from Long Island
in at least the D gates in terminal B, there aren't a lot of dining options past the tsa screening area, so if you're hungry, i would suggest eating prior to going through security
Be sure to get a shoe shine from John outside the Admirals Club. Not only a great shine but a great guy and he'll do a free brush next time you swing by.
The staff for Delta were incredibly nice. I had never flown before and was nervous. Everything was clearly labeled and there were kiosks everywhere for people just to help if you had a question.
Despite it costing $150 to travel with a pet on most airlines, at least this airport is very petfriendly. Lots of space to rest, outside of the bag of course.
TSA TIP #3 Remove your laptop(s) and shoes/belts while waiting in line for the x-ray machines and carry them in your hands to be ready for the bins, remember laptops are placed in a bin by itself.
