If your flight came from south I hope it was during the day and your seat was on the left hand side. The view from the statue and Manhattan are just amazing!
Had the most pleasant experience from the staff of Spirit Airlines. Absolutely shocked. They were very accommodating and the plane isn't as bad as I thought. JetBlue will always win the trophy though
Korean Native Sunghee Bang got off a flight 6 years ago. Since then, she began one of NY's most promising clothinglines. Join Sunghee at Gen Art's Fresh Faces in Fashion Show - www.genart.org
Do NOT try to sit on your buddy's shoulders & wrap a long trenchcoat around the two of you, creating the illusion of a single, very tall passenger--they have seen this trick before.
Haters are going to hate. This airport is more often then not 20-30 minutes from midtown Manhattan. Of course it's frenetic. If that surprises you, you're really in for a shock once you leave.
Tsa pre and delta? Don't get in the tA pre line. The sky priority line right next to it is way faster and you can still jump to the tsa pre security check.
A fascinating infographic on why you have to turn off your mobile device during takeoff and landing (Read it before you stow your device away!). Read more
Au Bon Pain is the only place with multiple outlets. So if your stuck here waiting for your luggage because Spirit Air is shit... You can go there and get good food and get some work done
Air Canada is placed at the a**end of concourse B. Its a wasteland both in look and amenities; compared to least civilized airports that exist in the remotest of 3rd world countries, LaGuardia SUX!
If you'd said your prayers and been nicer to your elders maybe you wouldn't be stuck in the hellhole that's the old terminals of LaGuardia. Good luck navigating this nonsensical place.
I can not stand this airport-B terminal in particular. Everyone is crammed in like sardines under a low ceiling-you can feel all the germs in the hot air.
Physically disabled, you better speak up and walk to the front of the line. There is no medical assist or family line in this airport. no one will offer you a chair while you wait for bomb check
TSA @ Terminal B are the f'in best! lost my wallet before security check and dude was super sympathetic, waited with me, gave me direct line to L&F operator.
If you ar flying make sure you go to the right terminal if ur going to boston, DC or Chicago ur likely on Delta shuttle which is marne terminal A if u screwed up there is a shuttle bus...
If you land here during the middle of the day, and take a $25-35 dollar cab instead of the $2.25 M60 Bus to Manhattan, you, sir or madam, are a chump, and deserve to lose your money.
The Delta terminals are a little cramped, but there's lots of good amenities to be had. Enjoy the traffic jam of planes on departure from this baby airfield.
When you're booking your summer travels remember to check out Delta's website for their super competitive rates. Delta is a proud sponsor of New York City Pride.
If you're leaving from A gates and have priority access, use regular security lane for faster service. EVERYONE has priority access, and TSA alternates taking 1 from each line.
Terminal B, where American Airlines is docked is a very small section. The choices of food is very limited to food kiosks with the exception of Samuel Adams, a very small eatery
Taxi: don't wait in the main line which can take 30 minutes. Walk 350 ft further to American Airlines building and hop in the cab of your choice - no line!
Transferring on the shuttle bus from one gate to the next a a hassle, especially given the fact that boarding to the busplatform requires you to use steep stairs.
If you're headed to Brooklyn, skip the yellow cab line and call a car. It's much cheaper and saves you waiting in the taxiline from hell. My pick is BRD (718) 384-4444
