- Joseph AlminawiFebruary 16, 2018Don't miss the baked 4 cheese sandwich. It's psuedo-grilled cheese bliss.
- Clayton PetersMay 16, 2013Scotch egg is exponentially better than the lamb burger. And everything is exponentially better than the service at the bar
- Great steak and eggs at brunch. Delicious burger for dinner, and the Scottish Egg... It's the jam
- Jamie SandersJuly 10, 2013It's pretty loud -- you have to basically scream to be heard -- but the food is good and desserts to die for. And the drinks are very inventive!
- Jay EaglesonJanuary 20, 2016I've eaten here on multiple occasions and the place does not disappoint. The lamb burger was exceptional.
- Michelin Travel & LifestyleAugust 16, 2011This gastropub fits the bill anytime of day. Breakfast is served daily starting at 7: 00 A.M. and brunch goes until 4:00 P.M. on the weekend. - Inspector
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzFebruary 18, 2016Surprisingly mediocre food. Sweetbreads covered in odd liquid spicy salami, lamb burger too salty and unremarkable. Terrine plate was good but nothing special. Scottish egg decent.
- etta yJanuary 23, 2015Family-style fried chicken dinner (reservations required) is one of my favorite NYC meals ever.
- Can't go wrong with any meal, any time of day....especially the breakfast egg sandwich or the baked eggs and chorizo
- CompassMay 16, 2014April Bloomfield’s restaurant in the Ace Hotel is a shrine for pork, and ordering the whole road pig is always a good choice.
- Nikhita MahtaniFebruary 23, 2016Heavy but so good! I like the lamb burger, fries and harissa braised kale and eggs.
- Oliver SiodmakApril 19, 2013If you ask, the chef will make a special plate of roasted veggies. The world is vegan friendly, you just have to ask!
- Ben BarclayJuly 28, 2017If you call ahead and bring a bunch of friends, you can order an entire suckling pig.
- jenn cMarch 11, 2010The Breslin is awesome, but I'm a fan of the Ace Hotel lounge next door. While dining at the Breslin, ask the hostess to check for the next avail lounge spot (1st come/serve) for after dins cocktails
- The oven baked cheese sandwich and fried peanut butter and banana sandwich are amazing!!
- Eric FriedmanMay 8, 2014Very nice event space downstairs in this hotel - good for a 50+ person private dinner.
- AmateurConciergeApril 27, 2014Yogurt and fruit surprisingly great. Bacon cheddar brioche for good measure
- Laura KingJune 29, 2015Try the Bone Marrow - Loved this so much. Salty and #soft and delicious. (via @Foodspotting)
- Leah SchallerMarch 29, 2015The lamb burger. Definitely! I wouldn't order anything else because it is that delicious.
- Fatma GencSeptember 4, 2015Great food but the service can be slow sometimes. I don't get why servants wouldn't help eachother out even when it's instructed or they have no idea what to do. Just saying
- Jeremy JohnstoneJune 17, 2012Try the Full English Breakfast - Eggs yolks were a bit runny, but otherwise extremely good. Would easily recommend!
- Mathieu PlancheApril 8, 2011Go for the Lamb Burger ! Probably one of the most original burger you'll have here ! The Sea Sausage also is quite a thing !
- The frittata is the only thing to get at breakfast...and the lamb burger is the best dinner or lunch possible.
- I come here at brunch/breakfast JUST for the poached egg and curried lentils. But the cocktails are decent as well.
- Scotch egg or scumpet, lamb burger and finish it off with the donuts. Also, check out the big tables Suckling Pig Feast.
- The New York TimesMay 5, 2010Recommended: Scrumpets, onion soup, Caesar salad, terrines, lamb burger, pork belly, pig's foot, fries, cabbage and bacon, sticky toffee pudding, Eton mess. Read more
- Brunch of steak & eggs + green juice with Allison as your server can literally fix anything in your life.
- Tim ChristensenJanuary 28, 2018Veal shank—but make sure it’s had a good, long braise and is fork tender before you commit.
- YoplaitAugust 28, 2011Enjoyable vibe, lounge sofas, and mix of attractive and hip clientele this is a favorite for an after-work nosh!
- Christa ConteSeptember 27, 2014Fancy cocktails and lots to look at - this place is a playground for people with ADD.
- Marie La RueJune 1, 2018Great decor & atmosphere. Food choices and execution were average. Some hits and some misses. Waited 45 minutes between appetizers & mains during which no one came to check up on us. We won’t be back.
- walk in, walk straight up the stairs. don't worry about "leaving your name": hang by the upstairs bar, have them pull you cask ale (hand pump!) and then snag a seat at the opportune moment.
- Uddhav KambliMarch 30, 2013The lamb burger without a doubt. Get the house cured bacon to add to the burger. Yum!
- Adam SchuitJune 10, 2015Deff a foodie restaurant with the blood sausages and other funky food on the menu
- ansje millerSeptember 21, 2013Everything is delicious. Especially enjoyed the poached eggs with lentils.
- Order the cinnamon toast, the lamb burger with thrice fried chips, the grilled cheese with egg, and the full English breakfast.
- Michael DempseyMay 18, 2013Lamb burger is good but not great. Bun was a bit too toasted and flaky. Lamb was high quality but nothing incredible. Solid burger, but not a top burger place as many lists suggest.
