Been here three times now and every time their chicken and biscuit has left me with desire for a return trip . But sadly , though I admit it was always winter, their pie has been VERY disappointing.
My happy place. "A Must" whenever I am in town visiting. The biscuits and gravy is aHmazing!

A L E XFebruary 7, 2013Chicken is decent, salty at best. Collards are really good, lots of flavor. Some of the better biscuits had. Grits average. Prices though? Expensive! For no reason. Service was annoying and hipster-y.

ordering the chicken biscuit is the nicest thing you could ever do for yourself! skip the mac & cheese and go for one of their other sides!

Pies ’n’ Thighs started in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken.
