Perfect for "cheap eats" Southern -- Fried chicken box ($15), pulled pork ($13), chicken biscuit ($8), mac n cheese with hot sauce ($5) and obviously pie
Awesome fries chicken simple menu just good ol southern cooking. The place was small but had that relax laid back feeling. Friendly staff and have their pies delicious.. Good prices but no alcohol :(
Not downloading the new check in app it's stupid Especially when I'm capped off at 1000 friends however just ate a chicken biscuit and OMG!!!!!! Side note bring your movie stub and get a free drink
The fried chicken is what they're famous for, but the brunch is my favorite. If you're skeptical of putting sausage gravy on eggs & cheese on a biscuit, don't be, it's amazing.
Fried chicken, pie, mac+cheese, breakfast slathered in gravy and hot sauce. The wait can be ridiculous, get delivery and enjoy your breakfast without having to put on pants.
One of the closest places I've found to real Southern fried chicken up North. A bit too trendy but the food delivers. Try their sweet tea and chicken biscuits.
"My order is pretty much the same thing every time - a Chicken Box with Mac n' Cheese doused in hot sauce with one of their glorious, buttery biscuits." - Sena Yang, founder, designer - Asteria Active Read more
Fried chicken & catfish were excellent! Get the Super Bowl (3 sides) and split with a friend to try more! Don't pass up the cornbread, biscuits, or hush puppies!
Gotta be the sea salt. Nice crispy pieces. Mac & Cheese reminds me of easy Mac. Nothing to write home about. Love that they will give you a free refill to go.
1. LOSE WEIGHT. What's in a name? All you need to know. Serving up all the bourbonpecan & apple pies, fried chicken biscuits in honey butter & hot sauce, you'll need to cushion those thighs of yours. Read more
Friendly wait staff who keep your water glasses filled to wash down all the grease. Go ahead be a fat kid for a couple hours and get an appetizer, meal, and dessert. You will not regret it.
I loved the catfish from my sisters plate my chicken and biscuitsandwich was overcooked and dry I want to try the fried chicken which seems to be the best thing there
There's lots of great food here, but you should only order the chicken biscuit your first 20 visits. Until Chick Fil A gets its act together and opens a real store in NYC, this is as good as it gets.
Cheap and delicious Southern food served by hipsters! Do your taste buds a favour and order the chicken biscuit for $6! Skip the 'average' $5 corn on the cob and get a delicious pie instead.
Tried this place for brunch-take out and the menu is pretty good except the waffles. Pricey. Make sure you get everything you ordered! Desert taste like heaven!
Haven't tried the Thighs, but make sure you save room for pies. So good, you may even want to take a piece to go. I live right across the street, so I try to control my pie intake personally...
They put hot sauce on all the sides. It's mind boggling and not good at all. The fried chicken is pretty great and the biscuits are delicious. Just don't order the mac n cheese or collard greens.
Forget the fried chicken platter. Get the chicken biscuit, slice of pie, a cookie, and sides to share and you'll be goooooood. (Much more cost efficient too :)
Delicious! But a bit overpriced for what you get - they've since upped their prices by 20+% from what you see here on foursquare and while good, you can find comparable places with better value
The best chicken joint that I ever had and for the others that are hating do not be mad because your chicken joint is not doing as good as them they can't help that yeah I said it
Pies ’n’ Thighs started in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken.
