Don't bother rushing to baggage claim - they certainly aren't rushing to get your luggage there. Expect to wait upwards of 30 minutes for your luggage.

New Boar's head deli opened in Terminal A. Decent food.
Try to avoid driving/parking if possible, but if you use the economy lot, allow a LOT of extra time as the shuttles run a bit sporadically.
Take the AirTrain and skip expensive cabs. Avoid evenings during the weekend though.

Lexie TriceJanuary 13, 2013Ugliest airport I've ever seen. Arrive early because security lines are always ridicules. Terminal C is best. Never fly American Airlines.
What you would expect from an airport in New Jersey: inefficiency, bureaucracy, rudeness, and obesity.
You're never lucky if you're delayed at the airport, UNLESS you're in Terminal C. Stop for a pour or two at Vino Volo wine bar.
Landed at Terminal B due to high winds. The most delayed flights in and out of Newark. The TSA needs an attitude adjustment.
OBAMAQUESTRATION delayed us by 2 hours! Thanks your highness.
Power converters are overpriced at gadgets express, brookstone is cheaper and you get an entire kit!
Avoid the bad food here and go to terminal A fresh market for great healthy options.
Why isn't there free wifi here? Come on, New Jersey! Surely there's something in our crazy taxes that could cover it.
KarliSeptember 25, 2013Man, the A terminal for gates 22-26 sucks.... Very little choices for food and can't leave.
Going from terminal C to A? You actually go to gate 71 to ride a slow bus to A. Allocate time to connect or you will be sorry. This airport sucks.
In Terminal B, the Chili's is better than most of the other food options
AmyOctober 15, 2011Make sure you eat before you arrive if flying on Delta. They have a lousy little corner of the airport.
They don't have helicopter flavour crisps, just plane ;)
Not one thing! If you're in the terminal and want a burger and only want to use cash it isn't possible. This airport Sucks!
