Beware. They use humans as horns on the terminal transport carts.
Once in gate you will find a Hudson News, Starbucks, TGI Fridays, and some Samsung charging stations for your gear
If you're flying united, get the smartphone boarding pass. One fewer piece of paper in your life.
- Ronald LongJanuary 2, 2018Flight took off an hour late and they still couldn't get my bag on board. I had to wait for the next flight from Newark to arrive.
Do not take a cab from this airport. NJ cabs don't have credit card machines in them so it's an absurdly archaic process. Book a car service ahead of time or Über it.

Go to the bathroom *then* call SuperShuttle.. They'll be about 30 minutes.
The air train estimate to arrive in 30 minutes is to the first terminal or parking garage, headed 3 terminals over, tack on another 15 min.
No free wifi. Your best bet is to hope Boingo is running a special. Or, just whip out your smartphone.
Do NOT take Newark airport bus to city. Shady company and always delayed. Train is same price and always onetime!!! F$&K the Newark Express Bus!!

Airport security has tightened it's belt! Nice to see.. Makes me feel safer.
United Customer service at EWR is horrible as usual. On the other hand, the customer service at the lounges are very competent and execellent.
Awful airport. If through some unfortunate reason you have to change terminals, be prepared to go through security...every. single. time.- Samsung has sponsored some power charging centers so you recharge your gear while you wait at gates at terminal A
if you are running late and have bags to check, use the porters at the curb.
Security line today was fast but it 5:15 am. Normally this is the slowest airport.
Pretty nice airport. Take a shuttle to or from the city or Dial 777.
Terminal B serving gates 41-47 has poor food choices. Eat before going through security.
Welcome to EWR. Give yourself plenty of time to get through security!
