Staci StevensMarch 9, 2019Hate this airport. TSA slow and rude. Shut down the TSA pre line without any explanation and didn’t offer any alternative but to wait in the general entry line.

Pay careful attention to your gate # - you can't walk easily between different areas post- security.
EvanMay 17, 2013Not a ton to do if you have a overnight layover but in Terminal C there is a 24 hour McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts.
pick up the loadsheet, close the aircraft door and waive goodbye to the captains :D

Leave even more time for security and be prepared to feel disgusting. They are rude even to the people who follow the rules and their "pat down" feels like a groping. I was extremely uncomfortable

BrianAugust 21, 2012Coming through security here is the ONLY time socks and sandals is acceptable. The carpet is disgusting. Duct taped everywhere and hasn't been cleaned in decades.

- Never take a yellow cab from here. It's like getting robbed on the street.
Actually the free wifi in EWR is only for a few minutes... Boooo

Flight arrived10 minutes early to sit on the tar mat another 30 minutes because there wasn't any empty gates! Rediculous !
Ivo PeixinhoOctober 21, 2010Remind that if you use this airport and be staying on manhattan or long beach, a cab could cost you more than 150usd.- Landing on the 4's, expect to be on the 22's by 11.
seemed easier to get into the city versus flying into JFK.
Try to get out from here quickly again and stay away from the overly crowded Lufthansa lounge.

CLEAR just opened a month ago...but the security lines after CLEAR are still slow...
Get use to this view. Late gate agents, broken gates and a Airport Authority that really doesn't care. Avoid this airport if at all possible.
I hate this airport so much. Security lines are always absurd in the morning, yet they never have more that two TSA agents working.
