Service, even when crowded: absolutely flawless. Excellent absinthecocktails, great oyster selection (and recommendations by the staff), and a gorgeous backyard. Go. Go now.
My favorite "go to" drink now is the absinthe-based Yellow Parrot with a Pretty Things draft beer at the same time. My favorite neighborhood spot and they have the best backyardgarden!

Monday-Friday (till 7pm) oysters $1! Great selection and fresh & delicious. If weather is nice sit in the garden you will feel like you've been transported to New Orleans.
oysters and absinthe don't pair very well. this is more of a note to self so i don't forget. this place is great though. get's super packed. get there early.
I've been twice. Oysters are great but service is awful, people that work there don't know anything about their menu and are not able to help you. the white wine list is really small and not the best
A little-known fact: Maison Premiere claims to have the world’s most accurate working replica of the absinthefountain that once flowed in New Orleans. (Oh, and go for the Beausoleil bivalves.)
For $1 each, diners can choose from little gems including the East End, Montauk Pearl, Kenny’s Malpeque and Peters Point. Offered Monday-Friday, 4-7 p.m.
