In case you haven't heard yet, all oysters during happy hour (4pm-7pm) cost only 1$. Definitely order a lot, and eat them with the amazing Maison Premiere Oyster Stout#1.
I've got a penchant for absinthe, and The Bachelor, served here, is my favorite vehicle for the spirit. Though the menu has expanded to include full courses, the oysters are still my #1.
If you don't come for happy hour, chefs choice for$30 is a good option. Gives you 6 types of oysters, 2 of each. These were the selections we received.
Cannot believe it took me so long to come here! I love everything about this place: gorgeous decor, sweet waiters. Cocktails are killer and oysters are yum! I'm coming back again & again!
Hands down, this is one of the most beautiful places to get a drink in North Brooklyn and it's packed most night. Don't leave without trying some oysters. Read more
Trust your friends leaving reviews and skip the fancy cocktails. Their Old Fashion is the best in the city (yeah, I said it). Ask for the Jefferson '14 Bourbon and invite me for a round.
OYSTERS: $1 M-F 4-7; Sat 11A-1P. Get there early, because people are on to how good this situation, especially when it’s nice out and you can sit in their amazing outdoor garden.
Finish a stroll down Bedford Avenue with a glass of absinthe and a dozen oysters at the charming Maison Premiere. Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. Mon-Fri 4pm-2am | Sat: 11am-2am | Sun: 11am-4pm
Fresh oysters, warm ambience and great cocktails... Although I had one issue (bit into a big piece of shell in my lobster roll) everything else was good.
Famous for its $1 Oyster Happy Hour and one of the most, if not the most, comprehensive absinthe lists in the New York City, Maison Premiere attracts locals & out of towners alike. Read more
Awe a new love at this New Orleans–inspired saloon, where you can sample one of 26 varieties of absinthe, or pick a selection from barkeep Maxwell Britten’s smart cocktail list. Read more
Recommend seafood dish here. Duckhash wasn't that great. It was surprising that they play really old Korean songs, which I didn't notice at first because they blend so nicely into the atmosphere!
Crazy good. From the fresh oysters to the locally made beer, there is nothing that isn’t to like. They even have a secret stash of alcohol. Be nice and they may give you some. Read more
Cocktails are good. Royal Carolyn looked amazing. Went for happy hour oysters and was disappointed. 1 hour waiting time just to get your order. No apologies from mgmt. Oysters were just OK.
Literally one of my fave places in NY! Amazing cocktails, oyster selection, swoony setting, and an extensive absinthe menu! Ask for the absinthe with half the water. They dilute it far too much.
Oyster and un-ironic bartenders who take their craft seriously. You'd be shocked how delicious a pina colada can taste when it doesn't come out of a blender.
This bar is intoxicating and decadent! The Frenchmen Roulette is as close to a perfect cocktail as I've ever tasted. The oyster list is long but the shrimp cocktail is also worth a try.
Food blogger Sydney of The Crepes of Wrath recommends Maison Premiere. “A gorgeous little oyster & cocktail bar in Brooklyn that specializes in the freshest seafood and—believe it or not—absinthe”

The bartenders here are amazingly nice. I accidentally knocked over and broke the last third of my drink - the bartender was so unimpressed with the glass, he made me a new drink! <3
