- amNewYorkNovember 21, 2011Hottest Cocktail: Absinthe Pina Colada - "Natasha David makes a summer drink perfect for fall by adding a hefty dose of minty absinthe" - Ryan Gannon, bar manager
- Carolina MirandaDecember 30, 2011If the Great Depression had a theme restaurant, this would be it. That said, cocktails are amazing (dig the Chilcano) and Moonstones on the half shell rawk.
- Brett JJanuary 3, 2012Absinthe good, get it with 75% water & sugar. Fav oysters: Malpeque, Naked Cowboy, Sunset Beach is best. Mignionette (sp?) sauce is perfect.
- Gigamoto and royal miyagi are my favorite oysters, if they happen to be on the menu. If you're not into absinthe, the St. Helena cocktail is amazing.
- Ryan AmbsJanuary 17, 2016Attention to detail here is through the roof. Creole cocktail is familiar, good and strong if the other choices seem confusing.
- Order a martini (extra dry) and ask for olives on the side.
- Ronald CattrysseJune 11, 2017$1 dollar oysters are the way to go, but there's plenty more you'll enjoy.

- eric mortensenAugust 31, 2014Gorgeous surroundings, tons of great oysters and lovely cocktails, too.
- Jon PetersonMarch 18, 2019I’ve been here a few times and have yet to see the appeal. The brunch is underwhelming. The service is slow and inattentive. Perhaps if you’re an absinthe fan, that could be a game changer...
- Jen DigneyMay 10, 2013Amazing happy hour oysters! Cedar island, sheepscott, st Simon and the clams were some faves but you can't go wrong here
- Chris GellesDecember 3, 2013The food is good. The cocktails are mostly on the sweet side. And the scene which grew around this place seems dedicated to choking the soul out of it. Too many douchebags frequent the joint.
- Natalie HollierMarch 5, 2015They have an entire menu of Absinthe cocktails. Love the Walcott Express!
- The absinthe menu can be overwhelming... so try a frappe made with Delaware Phoenix or Integrity Trillium absinthe and you will be very happy...
- Emilia AllonsoMarch 17, 2019The oyster selection is great (and it changes too), even better during HH (1.25$).
- DipsologySeptember 27, 2015Three words: Oyster Happy Hour. Every day from 4-7pm. Also a great place to explore absinthe.
- Time Out New YorkOctober 5, 2011Try bartender Natasha David’s Absinthe Colada, a gutsy piña colada spin. It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
- YSSeptember 5, 2016Super pretentious staff- told us it would be a 1.5 hr wait, took 20 min. Wouldn't let us sit outside even though there were plenty of empty tables the entire time we sat. Overpriced and overrated 👎🏽
- Hit Maison Premiere's happy hour for $1 oysters from 4-7PM Monday through Friday.
