- Southwest Airlines offers free luggage to travelers with additional bags at affordable rates. check in 24 hours in advance for the better seats.
- Southwest Priority - they don't have a specific lane setup for checking baggage - but if you ask, they'll skip you to the front of the line. Skip through security line as well ;)

- Adrian CollinsDecember 17, 2015If you're departing, ask the driver of the ride share to drop you at arriving, then take the elevator up. It saves time.
- We had a 5am flight got to LAX before 4am. Know one knew how to find out when pre-check was open. A lot of annoyed folks including me!! 😡
- At American, most flights board early, so be ready. Also, join my petition for more Terminal 4 improvements like more and faster eateries. Get on it LAX.
- If you're flying American and have status, skip the crowd and head to the American Premiere entrance.
- When finding ground transit upon leaving, walk along the sidewalk close to the terminals until reaching the kind you need, then cross over to the p/u island. Don't walk from island to island.
- The new terminals and amenities are excellent! ✈️ efficient layout too!

- The lines are crazy long, but they also move pretty fast. The security folks have it down to a science. You never know though, I'd still get here 2 hrs before your flight.

- Rayne DeReonMay 15, 2014Free WiFi, not much seating in the holding area at gates 61 & 63, make sure to come early to this gate if you care to sit comfortably.
- If you have an American Express platinum card, head to the sky lounge and grab yourself a drink. Great place to get a snack and wifi. Best when free.
- Crew Members you have KNOWN at Terminal 7 by doors D/E to left of Security. Right of ticketing, left of security. You will see your own Security guy/gal at a podium.
- Total chaos if you're picking up someone or being dropped off. Security isn't as tight as it is in other airports. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

- Where fast draw track suits with a Speedo underneath to entertain and amaze TSA, they're gonna see it all anyway. Might as well make it a show!

- If you are picking somone up after 8pm, have them come up to the Departure level. It won't be as busy since many flights arrive after 8 pm.

- Maynard TannFebruary 14, 2015The international terminal (after immigration) has been refurbished and looks great. Lots of high end stores e.g. Gucci, Boss, etc.
- Bring a soft sided bag you can throw your carry on, your laptop & everything in your pockets into before you get in the TSA line.
- KAL lounge wi-fi doesn't require a password. Was able to access it near Starbucks on ground floor
- Hosang YuOctober 11, 2013International terminal has gorgeous place to relax. What a change from factory like place.
- If you are flying domestic, have just a carry on and already have your boarding pass, getting here an hour and 15 mins before take off is just about right during off peak times.
