Seriously, just park your car offsite. It’s less hassle than waiting for a ride share or asking someone to pick you up.

Star Alliance Lounge is the second best after Istanbul! Very modern airport. Nice to come back.
If you are going to South Bay by taxi be prepared for the angry taxi driver who wants the big fairs not the $20flat rate to the beach. Rumor is there is a airport shuttle to the green line station

Ignore the Starbucks line in the AA terminal upon arrival - there's a little known and line-free one just downstairs by the exit.

Take the stairs to the lounges in T2, and you’ll find some respite away from the crowds just outside the lounges.

Decent airport. Lounges here are awesome. The stores are often super far away from the departing gates. No smoking areas inside is a downer too.

Make sure u budget extra time for arriving to your terminal. Google maps only calculates the time to get to the airport itself.

There are lounge chairs that are decent for napping near the 4th floor airline lounges in terminal 2. They're outside of the lounges so you don't need access to get to them.

Try out your digital boarding passes here, you can check in and board all from your phone. The good restaurants are at the international terminal. If ur going to Vegas fly Southwest.

Southwest Airlines is the best here. Always easy to check-in and fly; got me on a crucial last minute flight when Virgin refused; and somehow located me to give me my iPad I left on a plane.
Learn the streets within the airport. If you're trying to get out of the airport from terminal one and go all the way around, you're missing a great shortcut!

First time flying Virgin, how fitting ;). Love it! So easy, staff is really cool. Love their company culture & excellent prices. I'll forgive them for playing Adam Lambert at the ticketing desk...
Ming LeeFebruary 4, 2013Marmalade Cafe in the United terminal 7 has tasty an fresh food. The roasted veggie and goat cheese wrap is flavorful and delish.
Airport is fairly easy to navigate. Shops have a lot of cute souvenirs! I bought an awesome rate tokidoki/loungefly brand bag here.
LAX seems to always be under construction. Traffic is also super unpredictable once you get into the main loop. Best airport for flying into the west side of LA.
Paisano0506April 6, 2015Checking bags was easy, just have boarding passes ready before you get here. TSA was a breeze, took only 20 minutes. If it takes you forever to go thru, most likely it is your fault.
