If you're flying southwest biz. You can get extra drink tix by checking in (u get a drink ticket) then change your flight (get another drink ticket) rinse and repeat as much as you want ;)

If you're headed to Santa Monica or Venice, take the Lot C bus to the LAX Transit Center and ride the Big Blue Bus #3 north. Takes longer than a taxi, but you can spend the money you save at In-N-Out.
If you are reading about some cool thing in another terminal (and if you have time), remember that terminals 4 (TBIT) and higher are connected by tunnels. No need to go through security.
Try the seafoodCobb salad from Gladstone's in Terminal 3. It's either that or Burger King or Starbucks. Even though there is a sign that says Food Court, those three restaurants are it.
Check out Encounter - This restaurant is inside the "futuristic" Jetsons-looking structure in the middle of LAX. The experience is complete with 60's Star Trek-esque tunes in the elevator ride up!
Chaotic airport - remember there are three floors for which you do not find guiding signs: 1st Floor: Security Area, 2nd Floor: Street level and Arrivals, 3rd Level: Departures.

If you come early and your flight is at night the most efficient solution to visit the city is renting a car which allows to carry your luggage if your airline is not open all day.
Saint that it is airport notion, and I thought it is countries political affairs that figure out how one will enter and leave thе country. Big minus for such a customer relationship!
I've lived in this airport almost for a day :) but if the flight was delayed one more time, I would think seriously to move out there or live during the rest part of my life :) it's a cool airport :P
If you're hanging in LA for a couple days you need to do the following: 1)Try surfing classic Southern California past time (pacificcoastsurf.com offers great lessons)...and that's it

I love LAX - they don't clean it well so when I am here, I know some dirt that touched my father's feet is probably touching mine. It's like a family pilgrimage to come here!
Sunday night is a busy time to arrive at LAX and there is a lot of traffic. Sunday afternoon is not a busy time to depart from LAX and you should breeze by security.

The United terminal has a lot more priciereateries that close about 11pm so if you don't want 2 spend a lot, eat before you come, or try out the Food connection spot. It's the least expensive option.
When travelling with a buddy, NEVER BOOK ON SEPARATE AIRLINES. I flew Virgin. He flew Alaska. We were literally at the 2 furthest terminals you could be at LAX... Hope you enjoy long walks!!
