Start with Hirata Buns then a bowl of Akamaru. Add egg, if you'd like. Yummy!
Bryan LeSeptember 15, 2013Food is pretty good. Expect an easy 90 minute wait. Nice ambience. Shared tables. Unfortunately it has awful service. So bad that when combined with the 90 minute wait, makes it unfavorable to return.
Ask for fresh garlic to crush directly onto your noodles. You won't regret it.
The classic ramen doesn't have classic noodles! Thin noodles, not the wiggly chewy ones.

Deniz BasogluMarch 10, 2011You have to wait for more than an hour but it is worth! My speciality: a 'Cold Beer&Hot Peppers' while waiting and 'Miso Ramen' .- Make sure you're getting the size noodles you want. This is the second time I mistakenly got the really thin noodles.

Pork buns and Akamaru Modern ramen with soft-boiled egg = MUST.
Not a big noodle fan, but pretty good! Note that nearly all dishes have pork except for one vegetarian option.
Good Ramen & good 2-1 happy hour. Try to refrain from ordering "extras", what is usually standard costs $$$ - chili paste should be free.
