- Liza PAugust 10, 2015One of the best coffees in the city. Bring a laptop and work on the balcony upstairs while checking out the endless sea of tech hipsters below.
- Danielle HowellOctober 23, 2015This place is huge and slightly intimidating. I got the vanilla iced coffee and substituted whole milk for almond milk. I would recommend!
- Davita StrongDecember 23, 2015One of the best coffee joints around. Creep on the line and those who come and go while you enjoy your morning coffee.
- Great space with lots of natural light. The pistachio croissant is in the top 5 best croissants I've ever had.
- Lesley KAugust 6, 2013Another good spot to take a daytime breather or do some light work (the natural light is gorg). They use great beans & great milk=latte & black coffee is good.
- ZachApril 4, 2015Espresso here is definitely more citrus in flavor than I have ever had. Space is amazing. Grab a macchiato and go upstairs to take a load off.
- Great Flat White. Best in the city (so far). Good fun watching the coffee roaster in action, kinda hypnotic watching the beans swirl around.
- Really beautiful split-level space with really excellent coffee and great sweet and savoury pastries. Watch the coffee being roasted and bagged while you drink.
- Find a CofficeAugust 14, 2013No Wi-Fi. Great place to read and get work done unplugged from Internet. A pour over of any kind and the atmosphere will definitely get the creativity going. (via @elatlboy) Read more
- Em Lazer-WalkerJune 21, 2016Great drinks, great space. But it can be sweltering in the summer — there's no AC, and having a giant on-site roaster means there's a literal furnace in here.
- Philip SaulFebruary 17, 2017The coffee here is super good. The affogato bar upstairs is also really cool and there are quite a few tables for getting work done.
- Grab a single origin iced coffee. They make it Japanese style: poured over into a carafe and shaken with ice. Tastes much brighter than cold brew.
- Jorg-Peter RabanusNovember 6, 2015Everything you would like to find in a coffee shop of high quality. The only thing that prevents me from going is the lack of an air conditioning system. It is unbearable on sunny days.
- Eric ShoicketJune 22, 2013Great coffee... Although I made the mistake of ordering a red eye (not on the "menu") ... $7.25 and 2 separate pickup locations for the espresso & coffee. But hey - that's some good coffee :)
- Jorge RochesterApril 22, 2016Super Hip, I think they should add more food options apart from bread and granola. Coffee is amazing! - And the ambience even better
- Yuriy LipatovMarch 11, 2016My favorite coffee shop in SF. If you care about coffee as I do you should visit this place, at list couple of times.
- Honza UstohalAugust 1, 2015Great coffee, great atmosphere. One of the signs that SoMA is the up and coming neighborhood.
- Jessica ChangOctober 7, 2012Despite the initial feeling of excessive hipsterism, the space is spacious and airy, coffee best in the city, fun people watching, nice baristas (yes, really).
- The most aesthetically pleasing shop in the Bay Area. Music volume is perfect. Coffees are splendid, pastries lovely. Not a cheap date, but you will score.
- The best single origin pour over iced coffees I've ever had. That's a mouthful.
- Sightglass's beans are slightly darker roasted than Four Barrel's and Blue Bottle's. Not a bad or good thing, per say, but a useful thing to know in case you particularly like or dislike darker roasts
- Josh BakerJanuary 8, 2018Really lovely coffee and great environment. Not sure why everyone recommends it for work; There’s no WiFi or power sockets.
- Great environment. Delicious beans, sweet lattes, freshly roasted in house. The one microroaster u MUST check out when in the city :)
- Try a quick cup. Instant gratification with a delicious featured coffee that changes every day. The price varies by coffee.
- Jane RadstromMarch 17, 2016Great coffee, pastries and space. People watch from the upstairs ledge or the front window. No wifi for working, though there's lots of people with laptops.
- Espressos, Cappuccinos or pour overs. Please taste the coffee and not drown it in milk
- MarcMay 19, 2016Good place to sit and have a coffee. Also a place where you can do some work. Only be sure to have a charged laptop. Did not find any power plugs.
- Love the ambiance and energy of this space. Coffee tastes great too for a pretty penny.
- Marta TapperoJuly 2, 2016Sightless just never disease to amaze me. The space is great, the coffee is delicious, I wish I lived closer to go more!
- Oz LublingJune 17, 2015The iced almond latte is super refreshing. This place is the crossroads of the SF tech scene.
- DanAugust 8, 2014Grab your (excellent) coffee and trot upstairs to the balcony seating for some of the best people watching in the city. Hipster bingo!
- KyleJuly 3, 2015Love the coffee here. Appears to be a good spot to work too. The everything croissant unlike anything I've had before.
- Thê-Minh TrinhSeptember 2, 2014Very nice place with a cool mezzanine. You can order tasty pastries with your coffee.
- Meghan McInernyApril 19, 2013An incredibly dark and rich roast, but also crazy smooth. If you love coffee, definitely stop here. Your mouth will be delighted.
- Certainly the most beautiful of the High-End Coffee Shops, if not the most friendly; worth visiting anyway, for the coffee and ambiance.
- Sit upstairs and watch the baristas work their magic. There are also weekly Friday cuppings in the afternoon in the lab on the loft.
- Justin McKissickApril 23, 2017The coffee is great as was expected, but the two story interior and buzzing atmosphere was a big plus
- Galileu NogueiraJuly 9, 2014Good place to chill out! Ask for the Hot Chocolate just if you don't like sweet ones. Chocolate chip is good as 4 cheese savory.
- Leah Candelaria-TylerAugust 6, 2014Airy and bright - great place to enjoy a book and cup of coffee. I do wish the had bigger sizes of the to-go drip :)
- Paul FarrellOctober 11, 2015Hands down the best brew I had in SF. Staff were friendly and a nice space. Worth a detour.
- Satyajeet PalJuly 14, 2013Really cool place to grab a cup of good coffee. Bring your bike inside, convenient!
- Brittany AtkinsonJanuary 8, 2014The vanilla cold brew was heaven in a mason jar. This place is gorgeous and huge yet still comfy.
- HanahMarch 3, 2016Try the sparkling Cascara Shrub with cherries. A nice alternative when you've had too much caffeine.
- Sarah OSeptember 30, 2014The ginger scone was amazing. Espresso was strong. Great people watching from the 2nd floor.
- Excellent coffee, no wifi. Order from the "secret" bar upstairs if it's too crazy downstairs.
- One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Great coffee, space, atmosphere, staff, and treats. Downside: no wifi.
- These affogatos are delicious though... Try the salted caramel ice cream in yours!
- Matt DickerJune 11, 2019The baristas look like they’d rather be anywhere than here, but the coffee is top notch and the atmosphere is fantastic.
- SJune 22, 2019If you're foregoing the pastries (delivered from neighbors bakehouse), there's a separate coffee bar upstairs you can order from
