The chocolate cake is like yin and yang. Warm, rich chocolate cake, lightly crumbly outside but intensely soft and moist at the center, paired with cold, creamy vanilla ice cream. It's perfect.
if you want really fast service, get there at 10:30 on a sunday with a party of 11 after spending 6 hours at the standard biergarten. everything came out really fast!
The short ribs were the best I've ever had. Seriously, they melted when I touched them with the fork. The spaghetti with basil and tomatoes is AMAZING. The Nero d'arola 2008 (approx. $40) pairs well.
