- Austin WestermannFebruary 1, 2015Good free wifi and lots of food options (especially healthy) make this beautiful airport with mountain views an unexpected gem!
- I love SLC. one of the best. Kind TSA agents, relatively fast (if it's a busy weekend get there early) and easy to navigate.
- Gregg PullanoMay 26, 2019Terminal 1 isn’t anything to really write home about. Pretty basic floor plan and amenities. I suspect the Delta Terminal is better. The best asset? Definitely the TRAX green line to downtown SLC
- Jade HJanuary 10, 2019Try to avoid this very busy hub when I can, but sometimes you have to go from PDX-SLC-MCO-ATL to get to ATL when it’s a deal. ✈️ #FrequentFlier #ThanksDelta #TravelNurseLife
- Hungry? Stop by Cafe Rio for some plentiful (and cheap, and good) chips and queso
- Cate Rio - get the bbq pork salad, black beans w cilantro ranch. Thank me later.
- This airport has really stepped up their food game. The C terminal has Salt Lake Pizza and Pinkberry! Plus Cafe Rio is right around the corner and they serve breakfast burritos for the early flights!
- Jody JensenJune 3, 2015One of the best airports for people - not just planes. Very clean, snd tables and chairs by windows for respite between flights.
- Tom OMay 17, 2014Squatters is fantastic. Food is super quick. Great beers. Lots of power outlets (under the bartop if you are sitting at the bar).
- Take the time to get your shoes shined. Simple pleasure and can't find it done very often anymore. They do an excellent job too. Near C gates entrance.
- BK CMarch 29, 2014Take the UTA into downtown SLC especially at rush. Time is comparable to a cab, you'll save $20 and you may see the historic Union Pacific depot and sign.
- Wendy PriceDecember 3, 2014I think the sidewalk things are getting faster. Our I'm getting slow. Either way...fun! Everything flies well here. A lot of massage stations now. Cool. Nice airport.
- Tip for parents with a layover: now that all three play areas are gone, hang out in the secluded niche at the top of terminal D instead. It's to the right of CatCora's. quiet, bathrooms near.
- If you are a frequent flyer of Delta then make sure you sign up for the delta rewards and then sign up for the TSA pre check... Pre check is almost as good as the first class line...
- Jimmy KastnerAugust 28, 2017This airport is easy to navigate and offers free (but slow) WiFi. It's definitely the best place to fly if you plan on heading north.
- Amy CummingsFebruary 6, 2019If you’re coming from the east coast, sit on the left side of the plane for a great view of the mountains as you land.
- Terminal B has an amazing organic cafe with vegan food. They even carry Kombucha! Highly recommend the chicken breast and goat cheese sandwich. Amazing.
- To get into the mall (one of the best I have ever seen) go out the front door of the hotel and turn right. Go in the first store on the right Nordstrom's.
- Rexbabyandkids PenarandaSeptember 19, 2017When on a connecting flight from Seattle, LAX or SFO be conscious of the 1 hour time difference to avoid missing your flight, I did missed a flight on my first time here.
- Visit Squatters Pub in terminal A if you're looking for a good beer selection. And definitely try the Hop Rising if you're a fan of IPA's.
- Better than you think it's well laid out. The breweries are pretty good, smash burger is your budget joint and it's not bad, just causes some rough landings sometimes.
- You may have to connect to another airport as directs are tough to get here. Very clean airport with good food options
- Cafe Rio, a Utah tradition, just opened in the airport. Trust me, you want to try it. Sweet pork burrito smothered. Enjoy! It's addictive!
- Elizabeth PerkinsOctober 20, 2012SLC maps I found on the Net in flight gave an overly complicated picture so I wondered (WHAT..!?) but this is one airport where signs were easy to follow & food & bathrooms were handy along the way.
- Jeffrey WuJanuary 6, 2018It’s fine the way it is now, but by 2020, it’s gonna be transformed into a monstrosity like DIA, after Jefferson County Airport. Quick in / out from NYC to my beloved mountains.
- Sara MaddenJuly 3, 2013Cat Cora's is a great place to eat or get a cocktail if you have time at the airport. Highly recommend the grapefruit martini!!
- Be ready to walk. The new airport requires a hike of at least a half mile between flights. There’s no train and only a few moving sidewalks.
- Richard RevillaSeptember 3, 2017Quick and easy to navigate. Updates coming to 2020 with new terminal enhancement.
- Grab a cup of coffee, find a table..... And people watch. Endless entertainment.
- Sean MillerSeptember 17, 2014Nice airport for a long layover. Lots of good places to eat. Walk through all the concourses for some good exercise.
- With construction ongoing, make sure to arrive 2 hours before your domestic flight. You're going to need the extra time if you're flying from any terminal but A.
- Mark KrugmanMay 2, 2013Take the new TRAX light rail to downtown to research, and to West Valley, where Holiday Inn Express or Staybridge Suites await at the Decker exit!
- Ryan HoweyOctober 20, 2014For those with a long layover, try Squatters, snappy service, healthy options, no rush to leave and a really fresh Greek salad.
- Dennis ColdwellSeptember 6, 2011the wall street deli in terminal c is surprisingly really good. they actually make the sandwiches to order. ingredients are fresh & service is very friendly. breakfast wrap is delicious!!!
- Steve RappaportOctober 7, 2013Nice airport and convenient rental car, but they eliminated the kids area. So passengers can welcome our rambuncious kids onboard. Enjoy your flight!
- Shane EitnerApril 11, 2013After traveling thru most major cities around the country, SLC airport is by far the best to deal with. Easy access to terminals and car return, and friendly TSA. Always a pleasure to travel here!
- TERMINAL B PSA…If you’re arriving to or departing from a Terminal B gate, bring yer walkin’ shoes or a hoverboard. It’s 0.6 miles from the main terminal 😐
- Squatters pub has pretty good craft beers and decent burgers. One beer was called "chasing the golden tail" and said "a little tail goes a long way"
- This airport has some of the best food, and it's all inside security. Don't waste time at McDonald's, go to Greek souvlaki and get lemon soup and a gyro!
- Not a fan of the new design — lots of walking. They ruined a great airport. Lots of people not wearing masks or not wearing them properly.
- Erika CMay 15, 2011Granatos deli in terminal 1 has the most delicious minestrone soup. For when you need something more than a cold sandwich. It's worth to stop by if you have time to spare!
- Small, but well connected. 15mins to downtown. Ez car rental access.
- If you're injured and have a cast/boot/etc, plan for a few extra mins at security. And remember to be nice to the guards; they're just doing their job!
- If you have a delay or layover, don't miss this great opportunity. It is a must see!
- Gluten-free vegetarians: the Veggie burger at Squatters Pub Brewery are tasty! They have GF buns upon request. Happy eating :)
