This place is old school badass. No frills, just amazing steak. Medium cooked was more like medium rare. The flavours of the steak spoke for themselves. No spices or anything added and none needed.
I went with a frequent Luger diner. Apparently, they won't spit on your food if you don't ask for the menu - or so he says. This old school steakhouse served a beautiful piece of bacon. Worth a try.

A New York Institution. Broiled steaks for one, two, three or four are essentially the only menu options. Think German Haus, wood tables and cash only.
Really strongly, vehemently disagree with whoever said to get it rare. I'm usually a rare/medium rare steak guy, but this was much much better medium and above.
