I can't seem to get a good cup of coffee in the new airport. I tried Kopi Bali and The Last Wave and both coffees were expensive and tasted awful. The coffee at Hagen Daz was cheaper and tasted ok.

This is an International Airport, unfortunately it has unmaintained and sloppy public toilets which is located outside the terminals, different from those that is inside the terminals.

Hopefully improved...with more seats in the waiting gate. Most people sit on the floor due to the seat limitation esp. @holiday season. Even the launge is fulled.

Always take Bali Taxi (Blue Bird Company group) beware of their counterfeit looks quite similar, but your instinct will tell which one fake :) or you will get rip off!

The sign at the airport indicates the visa on arrival is $35 but the slip handed to you after you pay says the visa is $25. What is up with the price discrepancy?

Beware that you will pay 150,000 per pax as some service fee after check in counters on the second floor. It could be paid in cash only and nearest ATM is located downstairs outside security check

note your suitcase during baggage claim, if one is damaged, immediately report it, because the conveyor system at baggage claim too loud stomping, particularly in international arrivals.

The normal taxi has to pay the entry fee to get into the airport to drop off passengers. It's IDR2,000.

Prepare 150,000rp cash for departure tax, they don't take cards. Also prepare to go thru more metal detectors and xray than a high security facility.
