Poor facilities, not nearly enough customs agents to handle the arrivals and generally a lack of urgency make this one if the worst arrival experiences in Asia!
Walk outside the airport to find taxi (blue bird is recommended). The airport taxi is a rip-off

The airport is under construction until (most probably) 2013. The new drop off area is 5-10 minutes walk to the departure area.
To get metered taxi you shall walk to the exit of the airport.

Mayur SethiMay 29, 2011Bring 150,000 IDR for Airport Tax. There r no Lounges here of any Indian Airlines so don't expect to get gud seats.. It will take almost 30 mins from Seminayak in odd hours..
It is almost always cheaper to arrange a taxi to meet you at airport than it is to pay for one from the taxi mafia
